Katie is genius ;)
Ellen sings simply wonderful.

The Parents made it very well.
You all are a present for the world.
Thank you so much! ;)
blessed Greetings from Germany
PS: i have 4 Sisters and one brother, you always remember me on my own family
God Bless Germany and the good, fun-loving, hard-working people of Germany!!
@@waltbrown8899 thank you so much.
We need a new trust in God.
Many germans suffering under our government. Hard time.
Interesting, that germans are known as "fun-loving".
"hard-working" is real.
Thank you. And be blessed too.
@@lebenentfalten7858 Best wishes from Iowa, USA...God Bless...We're going to get through this.
@@waltbrown8899 yes my friend!
God bless and be hopeful! ;)
Sehr schön!
Bin ich wohl nicht der einzige deutsche Freund (bezogen auf die Musik) der Musiker-Familie!
“It was good FOOTage.” The girls acted like they didn't hear it, but I laughed for 10 minutes. 🤣🤣🤣 Well played, Matt. Well played.
🤣🤣
I laughed pretty hard at that too.
He was so proud as well 🤣
When my Dad past away in 2017, the one song I requested they play at his funeral service was "Far Side Banks of Jordan" by Alison Krauss and the Cox Family from Cotton Valley Louisiana. My two sisters decided it was far to sad of a song to play in front of our 84 year old mother. In the end, they played it and she thought it was great, but my sisters have never recovered from it. Thanks for playing it today, it brought back memories of my Dad.
One of my favorite songs. I saw them perform with allison at Mountain Stage back in the 90's.
I loved your rendition of gentle on my mind ! Can’t tell you how awesome that sounded!
The world needs more people like Y'all. I pray that you all stay well and continue just as you are. You've been a blessing to many people and we thank you for sharing with us all.
Julianne is so smart. Changing the topic of conversation when she doesn't want to talk about something.
It's 'Brilliant' watching you guys sitting around chatting, it's like we're right there having coffee ☕ with you! Loved your performance at the end so natural and 'Brilliant' take care and stay well. God bless.
When Katie hits those double strings it just sends chills up my spine! I just love you all! God Bless!
Astonishing ! Your singing and playing just seems to make me feel better! When I hear all of you sing and harmonize it takes me back to the sixties and my youth! My Mom taught me to play piano and self taught guitar, but we always sang when driving anywhere. Was so much fun. Thank you for your beautiful music and May God bless the Peterson’s.
I love that y'all do this! Just might have to watch more of them, so glad to hear it all!
Thanks for sharing your time with us.
Especially while you're shut-in, I'd love to see your creative process - a mash up of how you work through a song. From picking a song, working through the arrangement, practicing, ... and seeing it all come together.
You are very special and I love those relaxed moments in the form of live. Your friendliness is contagious, I love it! Cheers from Southern Brazil
Jules: “I wasn’t an accident!”
Me: (with 7-11 years between me and my older brothers, I know the feeling)
I´m from Czech republic but i´m living in Slovakia with my family... and i´m happy that i found your band...i´m still listening to you...
You are a beautiful family. I like his creativity but I love his charisma. Excellent.
I missed you live but was hoping all the time you would do a song, I got my wish! What a beautiful way to finish, I hope you do that all the time when you sign off. Hearing you sing a slow acapella hymn would be more than awesome, hint hint Your blend is out of this world! that was such a wonderful time. You made my day!
Lots of Kenny 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. It so nice to see an entire family come together to make great music together. New fan.
I love you Petersons, may God bless your lives. A big hug from your fans here in Brazil.
Beautiful! Amazing music, amazing voices, amazing family.
Thank you for your music.
Greetings from Italy (under lockdown) 😷😷
We will resist! Ciao 💕
God bless you all.
🤗
Thanks for having us around for coffee & muffins. They were really tasty. Such nice people. Love your music.
Hey folks! I take you in my little shop where I carve, and build furniture; a real inspiration!
I didn't see this until later but I'm so glad I watched. I love the Collings guitar and was curious too. Love the unique sunburst.
I smiled, I laughed, and well, my eyes teared up at the end. Thanks for sharing. You guys are a delight.
If you are coming to Tennessee any time please let us know.
Matt did a great job on the latest video. Well done!
Just discovered you guys..i don't have a family...so watching you guys just hang out was very cool..thank you
Thanks for doing this song at the end of Coffee and Chat with the Petersens!
The Mormon question is because you all look so clean cut. All Christians (Baptists, Mormons, Methodists, Catholics, etc) need to keep supporting each other for the good of the world. Keep up the great work!
I'm happy to see you.
you all are such a lovely family, i love to see each person uses her/his talent to give glory to God. Keep using n giving the gift God has given you to serve the Lord n others 😍 greetings from Indonesia
Was kind of hoping there would be Coffee and Chat again today......... Was looking forward to it being a bright spot during our shut-in. :)
I didn't get to watch this live. I was busy this morning recording worship for my own church for tomorrow. I did very much enjoy this. I got a lot of much needed laughs out of it. I have enjoyed your music for a good number of years and the most beautiful thing I have seen in some time is the song y'all sang together for the father daughter dance at Ellen's wedding.
Katie, we call those "unexpected blessings" 😁
Love your voices. Especially the little ‘un with Gentle on my mind. Hello From Essex UK.
Whatever your folks did they need to bottle it cause what you ya'll got going on is priceless.
I have been following your 5 concerts from Campbellton, New Brunswick Canada. It would be wonderful if you guys could do Mr Sandman written by Pat Ballard in 1954. I love you interpretations and most of all your own songs. Also Emmett is a blast and can fire up that dobro. Thank you and keep on believing in yourselves.
I like the stories you told and this table talk atmosphere. I mean, this is like normal American life with banana pancakes and coffee. Nice place to be and learn English.
Have to say I'm glad that I found you, love the way you sing and play :)
Greetings from Ukraine!
Hi guys you are now my extended family I live alone so I love seeing you all playing your music and also chatting. Thank you all and keep safe xx
I'm from Germany and living there currently. And I'm not into Blue Grass. So I don't like all of your music, but I love your way of performing, some of your songs are going straight to the heart.
To have you in Germany will be not so easy, even without Corona. Country, especially Blue Grass have no big audience here... so without a festival or something you would only fill small halls... and for making money (even not becoming rich, just have a bit more than you've invested) it will be difficult.
Anyway, hope to see you live performing one day, no matter where.
You're unique, keep it up! :)
Great musical talents by all of you. Also, your clean cut image is very refreshing. Stay together ....with love...Rob
They rarely make young people like the Petersen's these days. Well raised. Their parents are surely very proud.
God bless you guys,we love you.
💕 Katie!
Sou da Amazônia Brasil🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 amo muito vcs.
God bless you good young people. I love the morning chats.
Siete meravigliosi quando venite in Italia...
I will spread the word!!
Come to Munich, Paris and Madrid!
Love your music guys....thanks for sharing all you do
I just watched The Band Perry's version of "Gentle on my mind" and have to say I prefer your version by a country mile. Now I am wondering what your version of "If I Die Young" would sound like. So, in summary, please cover The Band Perry - If I Die Young!
I agree with Matt. It’s WORTH it. Would have been great to see Emmet in this live ☺️
I really enjoyed that. Please continue putting out great music and...maybe...even turn this sitting around and chatting into a weekly thing?
Love you guys, stay safe and be happy :)
Yeh...I kinda like this Saturday morning chat...where's Emmett?
The singing voices of the three girls are like listening to the sound of angels singing
I love all you guys BUT Katie is gorgeous and my favorite.
Shes the less beautiful of the three, but by far the most attractive.
That smile...
This is a really cool perspective its like we are sitting at the table with you.
Listening in from Birmingham England, love the music!
08:35 AND New Zealand please!
Summer starts in earnest in Mid-November or so, all good til ~Easter.
Hello, from Maine. Love your music!!!
Good footage 🤣🤣🤣 that was really punny 💚
Have you ever done a tour through Montana? We would love to help you put one together. We have really enjoyed listening to your music, and these conversations are great!
You guys are amazing. So talented!
Hi Pettersens!!!! hey Julianne !! here is your fan #1... awesome to hear you all today
Thank you guys. My mom went to be with Jesus in Dec. of 1989. She had just turned 46. I was almost 21. This song reminds me of her and her dear friendship with our former next door neighbor, who I affectionately have caledl "Aunt Bar-Bar" since I was a little kid. Both mom and Aunt Bar-Bar love Jesus and I have always pictured my mom waiting for her on the far side banks of Jordan. I know she's waiting for us (her family) too. But for some reason, I always think of their friendship when I hear this song. Thanks for sharing your gift of music with the rest of us.
Hello Petersons. I'm older so I not very much caught up on new technology which changes everyday. But I do watch ya'll on UA-cam. First thing I like to say to Katie and Julia GOD don't make no accidents . Certainly y'alls talent and good lookes were no accidents for though your berths and your family many lives have been BLESSED. Katie I noticed it seems a lot of attention was focused on you . Will a lot had to do with the fact that you were kind of Center of camera. But also the fact that you have a magnetic personality. But than again so those every one else in your family .. Love y'alls music. Also Katie. GOD has used you to be a blessing in the lives of all the kids you teach the blessing of music to. So again no mistakes here.
Hello guys, I admire your activity and enthusiasm
You guys are wonderful as usual. Any family would be proud of you all. When are you comin to KC?
You are great and talented. Thank you! Love from Greece
Love your music. Please if you can make a complete Christmas album this year!
Sou Márcio Curitiba, Paraná Brasil. Ouço sempre suas músicas. Vocês são ótimos. Parabéns. Bom café.
Thanks for coming live again :)
Great time and have a nice day!
Best wishes from Germany! :)
(How can I get your CD here?)
Lol. ‘I wasn’t an accident’. Classic :-)
Would love to hear you guys sing 'Cotton Fields'
God bless the Petersens !
HI from Canada. Enjoy listening to your music
@13:35 It's called Transcribing Charts. I made extra money in high school doing it for a local gospel record company. I didn't have to arrange it like Karen, I just wrote a Lead Sheet with Chord Notation as you'd see in a Fake Book like The Real Book. I earned $20 per tune in 1977.
You are fantastic,love your voices.
I make it a daily ritual to listen to O come O come Emanual once a day . So beutiful and gets me through my day. Thank You.
Great group, "Near the Cross" excellent. People ask about your faith, tell them you're Christians and that you belong to Christ, that says it all!
... I like to hear you play a Suzy Bogguss tune, "Someday Soon" ...
Wonderful "the Petersens". Greatings from Italy!
It's fun that you all have a sense of humor too.
Interesting remark about the coffee in Minnesota. I travel as a trucker up here and I haul a lot of Caribou Coffee out of Minnesota! I spend some time in Bismarck and North Dakota areas and they are very big on their coffees up there. Seems like everywhere I go when I wake up in the morning I can walk in any direction and find a barista with awesome fresh coffee. I guess it’s so cold they have to take it serious LOL
hilarious the comment about Emmett was social distancing even before the pandemic, I say the same thing about my son, the lock down changed nothing for him, normal life
I'm finally finishing the video (between projects). I was happy to hear Far Side Banks of Jordan. That's one of your best songs in my opinion. The end with the vocal harmonies on the album is awesome... no.. brilliant!
When I look at your Show Dates site on the website is when I dislike living in Florida. You guys are amazing! Keep it up!
This was awesome! Love to you all from MN (home of the best gourmet coffee!)
Very nice thank you Peterson family
Hi from N.H , our son plays bluegrass in the Larry Stevenson band out of Nashville , he's the quitar player, love your music.
The Raggle Taggle Gypsy, or Nancy Spain , great songs I'd love to hear you all sing .
Sarasota loves the Petersens, and opposums!
I really hope you guys to do videos like this one, for all your fans once in a while, I totally get the whole Pantreon exclusive content stuff, but you should also remember that many fans around the world can't (mainly because of the difference between the US dollar and our national currency) support you guys there, we do listen your music on Spotify, UA-cam,UA-cam music app and share it with others in various social media
Just stopping by to give you guys a thumbs-up and leave a quick comment. Stay safe, keep the faith, thank you for your singing & music, God bless! Keep Agape Love Alive (: Peace.
Thank you
I really want to hear "Dust in a Baggie" on a LIVE show...
Y'all are a blast.
Jesteście wspaniałą muzykalną rodziną. Poznałem Waszą twórczość niedawno, ale wciąż jestem pod jej wrażeniem. Pozdrawiam Was wszystkich serdecznie. Roman
I just want to chime in about the other bands at the Lake Itasca Family Music Festival that Ellen said are "far better than us." I know you display an appropriate level of modesty, and my impression of you thus far is that you & your family are equally sincere, but I can't imagine anyone blowing you away. Yes, there may be bands with more experience, more songs, who have more advanced individual musicians, but you guys have something that a lot of great bands like that often never obtain at your level. It's true some bands are better than others, but what you all have going for you is so special, so unique, it can't be blown away by the competition at the rate you're going, even if it seems like that from time to time. Your voices are amazing, your songs choices are amazing, and your songwriting is amazing. In my opinion the first and third are particularly difficult for bands to excel at but you do. I would also add that you are very good at tastefully executing your music. I love all kinds of music from the 50's on, but if I had to have only one band to listen to on a deserted island, well, it wouldn't be you (it would be ABBA), but if I could have only two, it would be ABBA and The Petersens, so take that as an enormous complement.
As an aside, I almost choked at the start of the landscaping discussion. Nice save.
keep missing these, I guess I will have to hit the alarm so I won't miss the next one. Be well you guys, have a great week!
wow excellent really very enjoyed video thanks dear great share
Please come to Davis CA! I love you guys and your awesome music.
God Bess your family. Love you guys, From Northern Ontario
Bringing modest back! You guys are great role models for women these days. Happy I found your channel. Peace ✌
