► RLCraft
RLCraft, the RL standing for Real Life or Realism and is a take on another mod I made for Unreal called RLCoop that generally has a similar goal, is my interpretation of what I've always wanted in Minecraft when it comes to pure survival, adventuring and RPG, and immersion. I hand-selected many mods and individually tweaked each and everyone to fit the exact play-style I was looking for, making sure they all worked fluidly with each other, adding my own custom scripts for various changes to vanilla behavior, etc.

flames4002 sure! There are dragons in real life! And creeper, squeletons, zombie, big wolf, big butterfly, magic, etc. I think chosen doesn’t want to play this mod pack because he doesn’t want to die over and over again like he showed in his video :)

THIS is the type of pack that dynamic trees is meant for.
Only thing I don't like about dynamic trees is how slowly they grow/how little they give to fill out your wood needs. You need to deforest several hundred square blocks in order to do a moderate size construction project and it takes a LONG time for them to grow back even placing them out 14-16 blocks apart. It's a shame because the trees look so good, too : /
My first RLcraft moment was spawning in the ocean and getting treated to a floating castle with a convenient waterfall. I'm a sucker for unique bases so I thought I'd take a look. Turned one corner and quickly noped back out into the courtyard. I was scanning the horizon trying to look for points of interest and spotted a sea serpent beneath me. Enemy_Spotted.mp3 - The sea serpent skyrockets at mach 3 out of the water almost 100 blocks into the air and kills me. This whole pack is a meme.
Click bait. ROFL! Trumpet skeleton toots at you a couple seconds after killing you. Made me chuckle.
Clickbait, meme or not, this is the most excited a lot of us have been in a long time over a video.
I'm still mad at him for quitting Volcano Block when it started to get hard. If "I" could finish that pack, I know he could have.
But I digress, he likes them easy, that's his right. Maybe try Peace of Mind. It can be played on peaceful

Death is awesome we've seen already all the mechanism stuff (and now its boring) we want adventure.

They arent boring if the mechanic mods are work together, just like in enigmatica 2 expert.
It's 10 times better than watching another normal mod pack where you are overpowered by the second episode and spend the majority of time in a crafting table
I would love to run this pack with your shaders jeez. My computer would melt.
So just in case you were actually wondering about the trees, it's a mod called Dynamic Trees that (obviously) changes the way trees work.
It makes them actually grow over time instead of just popping in from a sapling like in vanilla. They also take proportionally longer to harvest the bigger they are and the lower down the tree you cut, and you get resources based on the same factors. The whole tree (from where you cut upwards/outwards) comes down at once.
It only works for single block trees though, not 2 by 2, and only vanilla ones by default (there are compatibility mods for a handful of other mods, like Pam's or Thaumcraft).

its called real-life-craft but it has lycanites plus ice and fire installed. So 2 mythos creature mods and the vanilla undead still exist.That sounds like the pack dev didn't wanna stick to their own theme.

Honestly, I'm just waiting now for you to make this a full series.
It's not ridiculously brutal and has a crafting curve similar to your own pack, Bounds.
Things will be painful starting out, but it isn't hardcore, you'll survive. I'd even say the original Craft of the Titans is a lot harder than this.
When you DONT check out the Rlcraft turtorial before buying :P
"This is why I won't" .... Because it is different and difficult? Since when does that stop you? You would really let that pack beat you before giving it the good ol college try for us?
He just doesn't want to play it. It has to overpowered mobs and to many ranged enemies are under them. So he has to farm for eternity to get even a half way decent armor to fight any of these.

Honestly the worst part of rlcraft is the freaking skeletons they are numerous and even with decent armor they can kill you incredibly quickly since they seem to always get headshots.
Lol, took a break from playing it to see what's new on youtube, came across this xD I can definitely see the desire not to play it- it's ridiculously challenging. I got lucky and spawned in next to a structure that had beds, so that's made it a little bit better. But yeah, basically anything that you see can kill you. All I've found so far that I know for sure are passive (or at least neutral) are pigs and wisps... Other than that: don't trust anything. Anyways, love your vids! And again I totally understand the decision to reject this one xD

So I've been playing this myself lately, but I can't get optifine, shaders or any resource packs to work :/ I put them in properly into the right spots and all, but the Minecraft launcher just won't find them.

How about trying Falling Falling? You can mod it with Fabric. I've added minimap, ore excavation and optifine to mine-oh and shaders.
You can do it with Forge; there's even a video tutorial on it.
