Balefire still isn’t coded correctly when it comes to the stacks of balefire, the 60% damage from arcane blast, 30% from PI and 30% from arcane power. Fully buffed those crit should be like 8400 damage crits or higher but it’s closer to four.
Edit: I spent about 30 minutes doing a spreadsheet for this. With full buffs and on the 9th stack of balefire, it should be doing 11,300 damage
also talentos and specific fire/arcane SP doent work most of the time ( also other runes)

About Devestate look closely on the tooltip = 150% of a weapons damage per second !!!! Therefore if your weapon does 35dps it will be 150% of that so still pretty weak = before in P1 it was 150% of a weapons damage (flat dmg of the weapon so 150dmg of a sword for example).
yeah it was nerfed p2, but its incredibly good now, in the top 20 warrior parses there are multiple running devastate

Remember guys what they said before releasing SoD. Everything will be done on the go kinda so, no ptr = no testing = what works, good. What doesn't, we'll fix asap. So far they have been holding up their part of agreement. Ours is to not complain for early in the phase hotfixes. It is what it is and it's a testing phase for future possibilities! Stop complaining and enjoy it. If you dont then dont play it. Like phase 2 midway i took a break cause it didnt rly do it for me. But just like ph1 im having such a blast again in ph3.. First ST tonight with the guild is gonna be lit!!

Priests surge of light is still bugged, so that it doesn't instant cast if you spam flash heal, but it still consumes the buff even if you didn't do an instant cast.
Great stuff Blizz. After all the new things they put in the game, ofcorse there will be some errors like this happening but glad they are taking action. Dont let this discourage you from trying more stuff out in future !!! SOD is the most fun we ever had in classic people will cry no matter what !!! This

sandstorm still veery good for tanking. i never tanked as rogue and i'm glad i have aggro from everything without swapping target lol. will test in raid today. with that i mean still 20-40% sandstorm on 4mobs+. with single target prolly 5% but not persistent. but 5% d be still huge
Yeah I was stoked to level from 40-50 in some cool zones but found myself running around in a circle clicking on items on the ground for astronomical levels of XP and gold in nightmare incursions. After a few runs my desire to level was diminished and all of the gold I have farmed all SOD long is now worthless. P3 is SODs cata.
Mojo flasks did not persist through death this evening. I died three minutes after consuming one and the buff faded.

Our tank got thrashed last night after the fixes went out for 4.3k on eranikus
I’ve realized the people that don’t enjoy the game & are constantly complaining are the ones who have nothing going for them in life other than video games. The people that I’ve played with that enjoy the game, but still can constructively criticize it for some faults have actually something going for them in life.
This comment is moronic. Only the people that have no lives and nothing going for them in life were the ones able to take advantage of the day one XP and gold exploit.
They need to increase the quest log. I hate having to abandon all my quest to do the new incursion content.
Also why did they make it so I have to unmeta before mounting up. It used to do it automatically.
as of 8:40 pm PDT 04/08/24 , Eranikus was still thrashing, so hopefully they actually fix it. cause getting 1 shot by 3 1780 hits is .. a nightmare.

Hard to fix the level 50s in 4 hours not to mention the thousands of gold pumped from those quests that only no lifers were able to exploit. Game is beyond repair.
What about the new ranks of fire traps, you aren’t able to trap launch them in combat
Try reapply trap launcher on your gear. Actually a guess. I had this when I first logged in and then it seems to be fixed
The real tragedy is Blizz removing devs from SOD to put em to work on Cata. Screw Cata, its no longer classic.
They should just scrap cata and pump all resourves on SOD, the dev team needs proper support and staff.

Please blizzard buff the shield orb. It is borderline useless right now, its like healer mage did not even get a rune this phase
Not only healer mage head rune is completely dead slot for all mage specs. Deep freeze does no damage to raid bosses, shield orb lag shit for healer and last rune buffs fire and frost ward what’s first not doing damage and second there is no frost or fire damage in the raid xD really unfun disappointing runes this phase.
What does this mean rep of lvl 50 quests incursion increased? Now 100? 125? 150? 200?
I just started playing and already i can't trade, mail or use the auction house, this really makes me uncomfortable to play it

Yeah it doesn't seem like a very fair way to combat botting. Punishing all new players because some of them are bots doesn't seem like good design.

Nerf is not a catchall for all damage decreases. A lot of things you call a nerf is just bug fixes.
Tell Blizzard to buff Temporal Anomaly for Mage healing. Only 5 people getting effected and 125 absorb shield is in my opinion pretty weak and isn't good from all the aoe damage in the raid going out. I joined a Pug Raid on Monday before reset and I never had any proper use for Temporal anomaly Blizzard plz buff it!!!!
Lots of buffs to Balefire Bolt and its still not good enough to use

Fuck hunters fr so many of them griefing at incursion quest npc with traps and pet on aggressive so it’s impossible to level there at all. Only hunters, shadow priests and shamans doing this. So fuck all these classes that like only people play who are griefing all day long.

Maybe they can fix the bug where a hunter's mark remained even after you kill the hunter. Strange, this was a problem 15 fucking years ago also. Seems like all Blizz is doing is dusting off old code and uploading for the phases...original bugs and all.

My guild relies on me to procure vital consumables for our ventures into Sunken Temple, yet I am thwarted by this ongoing issue. Even as I enter my second month of gameplay, the problem persists, frustrating both me and a friend who joined at my recommendation just last month. While I appreciate the efforts of the developers, the situation feels increasingly like a cruel joke.

@@stoneyrunva Basically what the guy above me said. You have to train an AI to do what you want. It’s good for things where rules are static and you can feed it a bunch of historical data for it to learn from. It’s not so good when you are introducing a ton of new rules / functions and expecting it to figure out bugs between how the new stuff and old stuff interacts. Not only that but you would also have to teach the AI what is expected from every possible interaction so it could actually report bugs. That is an enormous amount of work that won’t be relevant when the next set of abilities and runes need to be tested.
@@TheBfree14 I think you underestimate the power of AI. Yes, it must be trained. But if AI can serve french fries at a drive through restaurant, surely it can play wow and report bugs. It's not a complicated game even at the sweaty level. It's all just math and numbers. Eventually it can prevent bugs from developing in the first place during dev. Soon, games will be created entirely in AI and will likely be bug free. Human players will become much harder to differentiate from AI players. In fact, communications and imperfections will be the last difference. It's coming. The point being, there is no excuse to release a free game with this many issues. Much less a game that requires BOTH sub and xpac purchasing.

we went in there first time last night and we got him to 30% after 2 attempts before we had to call the raid due to the late hour of the night.
if a dad guild like mine can go into ST and almost clear it the first reset, then there is no need to further nerf the encounters in there.

i was really hoping ST would be the step up in challenge many players have been looking for, for SOD... not everyone is happy with raids where the bosses are loot pinatas that just fall over even if you fail the mechanics.
its fine to have some raids like that in the game, particularly in the early levels where raids like BFD serves as a perfect introduction to what raiding is, and then gradually step up the difficulty with Gnomeregan and now ST - this is a good path of progression.
however it looks like noobs might end up ruining it if blizzard caters to them...
retail tourists really are the worst... some of their ideas are atrocious in a classic setting and they suggest them all willy nilly as if its not big deal... like "looking for raid" yeah no, stfu.
If you went in last night then the additional 30% HP nerf was already in effect. It was a hotfix applied yesterday, not part of the weekly reset/maintenance.
What part of "arcade style" raids confuses you? If you want difficulty, mythic raiding in retail is an option. This is a seasonal game, why on earth would they make the majority player base incapable of pugging the raid? We only get two months with the content. Noone wants to have a progression raid to maybe get the raid on farm after a month. This isn't classic, this is Season of Discovery. If you want slow and grind, there are Era Classic servers too...

Phase 3 is a good time to quit. Can't even do Incursions without the hassle of finding a group and also avoiding 100s of level 50 gankers. Peace.

All the people who say “stop crying and just play the game” are the same people that went full neck beard sweat lord and got to 50 first day and now farm people in the incursion zones that are just trying to level up casually. We can’t “enjoy the game” when people gate keep dungeon groups, farm people questing for cheap honor, and price gouge everything on the auction house. The game doesn’t suck now because of blizz, the game sucks because the player base has achieved new levels of toxic

funny thing im actually having more fun in ph3 as a mage than 1. 2 was meh for sure but now that we have dual spec and access to alot more talent points my class feels great

@@hadriengillet9604 Shamans are extremely squishy, they lack of any CC in classic and have no way to avoid damage. The totem mechanic is also very bad in PvP. They are glass canons at best.

...... and they removed thrash.... LMAO.... they actually removed the anti-kite mechanic intended to keep players from cheesing strats.
thrash only happens if for some reason the boss is not hitting someone for a long period of time (for bosses like eranikus this works uniquely different though, as eranikus will thrash you regardless of whether you try to kite him or not)... if you are pulling some 5head strat that relies on the boss not hitting your tank and he suddenly connects with him anyway your tank will likely die from what is essentially a free built-in windfury hit for the boss.
every raid boss in the game has this mechanic, and if you remove it you are removing an anti-cheese mechanic from the game.
there's a reason they are able to do this, you know.
honestly, with thrash being removed i easily see a 1 healer meta. maybe 2 max.... in a 20 man setting... ridiculous.

SOD was always made and tuned to be revolved around casuals playing it for the most part. dont get me wrong id love the idea of maybe a "heroic" mode for the hardcore pve players. but at the state ST was at there was no chance in hell casual guilds were going to be able to clear it. if you thought the gatekeeping was bad for gnomer oh boy it would've been worse for ST. these nerfs were needed.
