Ingredients:
3 Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
Marinade:
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
1 tbsp. Sake
1 large Egg Yolk
Crispy Coating:
2 cup Corn Starch
For Pan-Frying:
1/2 cup Cooking Oil
Sauce:
2 tbsp. Sake
1 tbsp. Mirin
1/3 cup Homemade Teriyaki Sauce mixture (see below)
Homemade Teriyaki Sauce:
1 1/2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
2 1/2 tbsp. Water
2 tsp. Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp. Onion Powder

I don't take sake, what can l use to replace it.
If you are concerned about consuming alcohol, during the cooking process the alcohol will react with acid in the dish and turn into ester, your final dish won’t have any alcohol in it.
@@Immtjack FYI, Muslims don't take alcohol.
Are you allowed to use vinegar? Rice wine vinegar when used in small amount is a great substitute for sake. You may need to add a light pinch of sugar to balance the flavor, depending on your taste preference. If you can't use vinegar, a hint of lemon at the end of the dish should help.
