We praise zoos that are proactive about animal welfare and environmental enrichment,
and strongly criticize those that are passive about animal welfare and environmental enrichment,
and demand that animal welfare be implemented.
*Environmental enrichment is a measure to reduce
their mental and physical stress and have them live a happy life from the standpoint of an ape,
not from a human convenience or emotion.

モコイチ君と上手くいって安心しました。想う以上にかわいがってもらえているモコイチ君。私の中で消えないのは亡き子（なつむちゃん）の想い、誰もが仕方ないと言うけれど、私はあの子もここにいて欲しいと度々思ってしまいます。モコイチ君の今日も明日も生きられなかったなつむちゃんの一日だから、大切にされて幸せな日を過ごして欲しいと思います。
スグルが想像以上に大人の対応で感動しました。今月は、ナツムとモコイチの誕生日🎉 この世のみんなは元気で良い暮らしを送ってもらいたいですね。
Haha. The little one is so adorable. And so plump. He almost looks like he’s a little on the fat side until you realize that his legs and arms, despite being short, are very muscular for such a small chimp. I think when he grows up he will be a very large chimpanzee! It’s good to see the older males playing with him. You can tell that they adore him!!

モコイチ、スグルとギンパパで遊び相手に困らないですね。ママと離れて暮らすのは残念ですけど、モコイチの教育にはスグルとギンとの遊びは大切ですね。

@@GreatApesZoo We must be close in age because I remember hearing her at a very young age as well. My pawpaw adored Karen, and she helped soothe his soul nightly with her voice, helping him get to sleep after a rough day of work. She was one of a kind. No one will ever replace her.

They dont look healthy. Please get a vet to look at them. Also they need more stimulation. Please provide them with more activites and objects to keep them active.
