@@valleygirltotallyforsure YEAH. just seen him in london. i was mildly spangled...he was NOT mildly spangled. you remember when ozzy was on tv with 'the osbournes' and everyone was saying "it's great that he's clean now". weird.
Totally awesome. Hope he beats his addictions. He is one of the most talented singer songwriters of the last 20 years. After his death some film maker like Oliver stone will make a movie about his life then everyone will jump on the Even Dando bandwagon.
I've seen the lemonheads 3 times in the 90s. They were great every time. My son and I got tickets to see Evan Dando a year or two ago. I was majorly disappointed after driving an hour and a half to see him, when we arrived at the venue they told us Evan cancelled the show at the last minute.
Sorry, but this clip came from one of the highlights of the previous months' programs, and didn't catch the week which broadcast that second song you mentioned.
He really was awsome for a long time. somewhere I found a vid on youtube. It was from last year kind iif an interview and then he played a few songs, or attempted to. so sad. He was so strung out on herione He could hard Let speak let alone play.hopefully he got out from under that bus. probably one of the most embarrassing thing I ever seen. It wasn't even cool to air that stuff let alone upload Iit on youtube. He looked terrible and performed just as bad. hope the best for him. I don't know anything about him as a person. but he use to have such a great voice, stage presense. And he was gifted with writing material and lyrics in a story style way that had you listen to the entire song just like you would watch a good movie not wanting to miss the ending. Great song writer. I'm sure he still could be. Herione just sucks all creativity out the window and leaves people looking like a fool. only one singer I can think of that Herion didn't effect. Layne Staley Alice in Chains frontman could sing his butt off. probably even under water who knows. you just couldnt stop him. And he either wwould sound just like the album, or even rawer.
Travis Smith That interview, aside fron some throwaway chatter, he still had plenty of honesty to express. He was very respectful toward the interviewer, too. I understand how it saddened you and you're not the first to say as much, but he's okay and always has been a good guy.

Good song !!
I did not realize he tuned his guitar down a whole step for this song
On the record it's a standard tuning with a capo on the 2nd fret. Sounds cool whole step down though. Evan has/had some range!
Evan is the best

he do be tweaking hard
What tuning is this in? Certainly isn't standard. Could it be a whole step down?
I've been trying to figure this out as well. Tabs online say to use a capo, and since he isn't using one here, it's definitely not standard tuning
@@michaelmazzone2140 yeah, original version is capoed on the 2nd fret, but I think it may be d standard I dont know
You are right it's a half or whole step down
It's D Standard Tuning. You can see he plays an F with a G shape
The number nineties.

120 Minutes. How far MTV has fallen.....
Indeed! "When it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
how come my guitar sounds different when i play the same chords?! whats his tuning? i cant get it right
I think the recording is in D, but he’s playing the song in C, so he can sing lower. He might be a little inebriated here so that might be why.
