Just saw this i met Evan and the band backstage at the Glasgow Garage 97 the Australian bass player was amazed at my friends ability to open bottles if beer with his teeth, Evan didn't say much, cool night though, fuck my life used to be cool ❤
Agreed! But this whole album is so dark. First song: "She's so precise with her exactoknife she's going to take her own life" :O Then on to "flushed my Zoloft" and a genius Mein Kampf reference. Then on to Break Me. Wauw! So much darkness in there. An an underrated album for sure. Dando easily one of the best songwriters of the 90s (and 80s too)
@@deathkampdrone I agree with you.. although he's is one of the greatest of all time though I feel like he has lost his magic nowadays.. as a fellow musicians who credits the Lemonheads as my no1 origina influence I know hard it is to keep pouring out you heart and soul, I think he has become spiritually sick and lost these days and lost(exhausted.. I pray for him and his heart to rediscover his passion.. truly I love the guy so much *)
@@pauldsheppard126 It's agreed that Evan with 55 is not the same as he was 30 years ago but none of us is. And almost all the greatest songs in rock history are made by tweens. Most of them got saturated or burnt out or became a bad copy of themselfs by reciprocating their old songs. That is a trap that Evan avoided by taking the risk of crashing, which he did not. At least not yet, and I hope he never will.
@@pauldsheppard126 I saw him playing recently he put his heart into the performance. I think he's doing good, still playing and he seemed to enjoy being there.
TomG G Thanks a lot for providing the other song titles! And I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the footage. I know how great it feels to come across footage of a group/performer that one likes a lot, and hasn't seen it before ;)
Hahaha Dinosaur ( murph ) the Eastern Dark ( Bass Bill Gibson ) John Strohm ( guitar - Killing Children , The Real Bruno , Médium Cool , Blake Babies !! Antenna !!! )
The best Lemonheads line up, by far.

Good lineup this
Hugely underatted band. Lemonheads tabs is what taught me guitar. I'm a drummer 😅
How are they underrated?
Love this drummer
I particularly like break me always been one of my favourites + one of the darkest songs Evan has written.
