- A tribute to the greatest character in gaming ever created.
My first ever edit so I apologise for any mistakes.
Any feedback to help me improve would be much appreciated and I hope you enjoy.
RE-UPLOADED
I know it’s a game but it feels real
I know right, they did such an incredible job at brining these characters to life. I honestly can’t think of a character in gaming with as much soul as Arthur.
So ture
I cried in the end
@@MOJAHED-XAN i did to
Agreed 100% . This game got me good. Im on my 5th playthrough and it still gets me
Want to know the beautiful thing about Arthur's final moments? He died watching the east rising sun.
To symbolize the new beginning. The new life that he's given John. The only one that made it.
He thought about John and Abigail in his final moments.
God I love this game so much.
my arthurs last sight was micah pulling the trigger
@@sweatsquid972 that’s because of your honor
@@muffinthemoaf-_-9168 i know that, i just thought it was funny
Arthur died with a bullet in his head for me, ain’t no sun rise scene, only Micah’s ugly face
"Face me to the west so that I can remember the good times we had that way." Charles granted Arthur his wish.
I'd like to say 2 things:
1. This game is a masterpiece and will forever be my top video game
2. Thank you for this video sir, a well deserved tribute to the greatest protagonist in gaming history (ARTHUR MORGAN)
This is undoubtedly my top video game and i dont believe any game will be able to top it too. Ive never played another game which has been remotely close to what RDR2 has to offer. Im glad you liked the video too!
@@Midgezz I totally agree good sir, keep up with making the videos doing a great job !!
for me it is rdr2, skyrim, witcher 3, and the ME legendary edition...it pains me to think about trying to rank this 4
@@antonslavic1899 I know the pain trying to rank your top games and main protagonists in order 🤣
“I said don’t thank me”
Idk why but that line got me
it always gets me too. I think Arthur believes he cant be redeemed nor do i believe he wants to be after the bad deeds that he has done. He is a very humbled man
"The things that make us laugh also make us cry.." - Big Smoke
One of the strongest lines ever.
“We’re thieves. In a land that don’t want us no more. “
Arthur Morgan, Red dead redemption 2, Clemens Cove.
One of the purest lines I’ve ever heard.
All you had to do was follow the danm train....
Breaks my heart when he says he is afraid
I think its so heart breaking because Arthur is a character who tended to be so emotionally closed off and hearing him say that shows just how scared he really is
the expression they put on his face after he sais it hits real hard!
It really does
I’ve played this game so many times that I play this song at the end of every play through
Boys dont admit that they cried in The end
Men say that they cried
I practically cry every time i think of arthurs death
@@noah.lorenzo.livingston.6482 i get goosebumps everytime
Well I'm not no boy or man I'm a girl and a woman so i can admit i cried like a baby
my man i cried like a damn baby.
I didn't tear up but i cried in the inside and my heart hurted
I gave you all I had…
Arthur will go down as one of the most memorable characters to ever exist
John really didn’t want to let him go. It seemed like John was on the verge of tears. To me anyway.
John may not have been but I know I was 🥲
I think he wasn't crying but he was affraid he knew when arthur said that it will be the last time he see him and at this point he regret all the time they fought in hope to be the favorite of dutch he knew he couldn't repair anything that's why he insisted so much to arthur continue he wanted arthur next to him to build his familly with him but he couldn't but atleast he had the chance to say to him you're my brother a symbol of how much arthur was important to him since like we see john always have problem to speak franckly or tell the things he want to say
@@cranexes1254 I said verge of tears not a sobbing mess
@@Kiwi-gn8tf i didn't said you say that i said i dont think he would cry neither arthur or john have the habits to drop tears the only time arthur did was when he said he is affraid they both learned to keep their emotion inside and how they feel and since john has much more difficulty at expressing is feeling the only thing he had the courage of saying is "you're my brother" i never wrote you said he cryed like a baby sorry if i you thought i said it that way
Alright alright... I'll do another playthrough... God I love this game. You couldn't have made this any more perfect.
There is definitely a reason this is my #1 game of all time, I can keep coming back to this masterpiece of a game
‘Face the setting sun’
Maybe I didn’t see it right, but it looked like he faced the rising sun, as the life and hope he helped to save and raise, before he breathed his last.
Things don't always go to plan in life but that surely was close
@@jabronisauce6833 I know, I was trying to point, Arthur thought his life was ending, when in reality, his deeds would never be forgotten.
I see it as Arthur having a change of perspective as the game goes on, putting on the front of a thug to do what the gang needs to to survive, while looking back on the good times they had, and eventually he turns around and realises what's really important and turns to see the rising sun as symbolic of the new start he gave John and his family, he's thinking less about what the gang was and more toward the future he just gave John, Abigail, and Jack.
It's really a fantastic character development throughout the story that we love Arthur by the end and are touched by his sacrifice and self depreciation. He really tried.
There is no game as poetic as Red Dead Redemption 2
My first playthrough when the Rhodes storyline came up Arthur was hunting for alligator pelts around the Marshes when he found a man walking on the road.
He got bit by a snake earlier and Arthur could tell he was going to die without help, so he put him on his horse.
The nearest clinic was St Denis, a place he's never been before. The life meter was draining away as he swerved through the town not caring about who he burst through.
When he got to the clinic Arthur saw this doctor take him in. The snake venom seeped in so much the doctor told him he had to amputate it. Arthur didn't have to stay and watch but he did. Least he could be there when he wakes up.
He didn't get anything from him, no money, no free gun, but that was the most memorable side quest I've done in any game, and I didn't know the doctor was the same man who would tell Arthur his time on Earth was done when I got to that part.
RDR2 is a gift to humanity
Fun fact..:
Go back to Saint Denis some time later, he is being hanged for murdering a girl, poor guy deserved help in the moment but leaving him to die ultimately saves the innocent lady he killed
@@mammothplains91 I saved him from being hanged and he said he owed me twice or something like that
"I gave you all i had."
That is the best and saddest quote in the game.
For some reason this game makes me think of my father who left when I was young, I was fortunate enough to have a good relationship with him. But we never exactly said the things we should have to each other like “I’m sorry” and “I understand” he passed via cancer and he was in some rough shape when he went, couldn’t walk, couldn’t speak…but somehow in his eyes and through the words he tried so hard to mutter… I seen his REDEMPTION
I hope your father managed to find his peace and i hope you are doing alright since his passing. I think being able to relate things like this game to your dad keeps his memory alive
I recently finished story mode and I just gotta say 4 words "best story game ever"
Arthur is a good man....he is always a good man
Why does it feel so long ago that this game came out, I remember when it was the shit. I miss my first play through when I didn’t know what was going to happen, my second was my 100 percent play through which felt just as fulfilling if not more. The characters and the story are all so amazingly well crafted and it makes me so sad that I’ll never experience it the same way I did when it released. I reckon I’ll do a third play through soon, I’ll give it a little time just like before I did my second one so it all feels new again.
Arthur is the best character Rockstar has ever made
this needs more views holy shit. this is so beautifully edited i cant explain it
I really appreciate the kind words :)
It's not a game it's a movie deserves an oscar ♥️♥️👏🏼
At least he can endlessly have fun his B O A H L E N N Y!!!
still tears RIP ARTHUR MORGAN
Best game ever in existence you get so emotionally attached to the characters as the all slowly die off.
Love this game hit me with a lot of emotion and I have been playing games for a long time
Amazing video! Thank you for your work.
thank you so much im glad you enjoyed it :)
I hope the next game has Arthur’s past like they did with John marston and show more of the gang when they were young with Dutch
It'd be cool to play as Hosea in his prime I think, starting from when you first meet Dutch and gradually form a gang when they pretty much adopt young Arthur.
Arthur Morgan is my favorite man. Hurts the soul for just being a game.
I don’t think any movie, tv show or video game made me feel the same way I did about Arthur Morgan
Holy shit wtf even the nanomachines cant stop me from crying
This game along with GTA 4 were the first games to ever make me cry, this game when Arthur feels and starts to change for the good and helps the Downs family, and then Johns family, just Arthur giving his things to John and turning away for one last stand is one of the best things a game did to me, in the end John did the same, putting family first and stayed and died for the ones he loved and he got all that from Arthur
When I first played this game I got the feels. I was crying for 2 hours or more when Arthur died. Reminds me of Joel from the last of us 2. Those are my most favorite characters from those games. I cried for Joel too.
I made myself not cry for Joel I couldn't do it i promised I wouldn't for him i almost lost but to this I haven't cried but Arthur was the one I lost the battle of not crying
@@beverlyarcher3744 yea I remember when people got early access to tlou2 I was eating food and I saw “Joel’s death scene” I watched it thinking it was fake and I cried for a while tbh
I just finished chapt. 6 yesterday, and I'm still messed up 😭. Idc about the rest, but my gosh, Arthur Morgan was one of the best characters I've ever had the experience of playing 💜.
Beautiful edit!
The ending of this edit wrecks me 😭💜
I would give anything to play this game for the first time again
Don't take life for granted live the life that Arthur did help people or just be kind and even nothing good happens to you just by helping people just live the life you can and do the best you can.
Best comment on here.
I watch anime i watch movie I play A Game like Spider man uncharted god of war but so far Arthur is the Best Protagonist of all of them
If that farmer wasnt in the game with tuberculosis RDR2 would NEVER happen
One of the best video game i played.
Great edit
every gaming reward ever should be dedicated to this masterpiece
I can't believe this has made me cry for the 5th time
I just got the high honor help John ending 2 days ago... I am still tearing bro
when Arthur died it felt like I had just lost a best friend and he will always be in my memory
"John...insist?"
Song: "am I asking for too much?"
I miss Arthur..... (awesome vid!)
Thanks so much, he is such an amazing character
Amazing. The only thing I would possibly say is include ‘I gave you all I had.” That line hit me the most
Easily the best rdr2 edit. Wonderfully done
That’s very kind thank you!
Game or not.. what happened to me.. fuck
Yo deadass I thought I was done with this game here I am 7 years later in chapter 6 again.. fuck
I will say for a video game it touches you. It shows you the meaning of life even though the amount of mistakes we make in the end you can finally make it right. Truly a masterpiece
I love Red Dead Redemption 2 as much as any fan.
As far as editing the video goes, I'd say a solid 8/10. The dialogues you chose, the arrangements of scenes. You nailed it!
Bravo! Absolutely!
Mighty Kudos to the editor/ creator of this video.
I love this game and it’s storyline so much. One of me dearest and favorites.
Great now I'm crying...
You did a wondeful job with the voice lines and edits
Appreciate that! :)
When the death of a horse brings tears, it is sign of a masterpiece.
1st edit of ya? wtf thats really really well done, the music was perfectly coherant with the moments shown. ty sm for that
:)
Thanks a lot man :)
This did reminds me of me because I'm sick but always try to help anyone but it always turns into me hurting them or the opposite so sry
Just do your best and keep pushing forward I’m sure those around you appreciate the good you do :)
The game is so much more then just a video game you play in your free time, Red Dead Redemption is also a great piece of art even people who don't play games should love
I from. Far far far far away from another. Time life layer. Wolrd castle. To xome here i past black linr of worls years
I’m not sure what this means but I agree
“I guess i… im afraid.”
Well done!
thanks a lot, I hope you enjoyed watching :)
After playing the master piece that was RDR2 i don't think my body is ready for the story we will see in GTA 6
I wish I could hear Arthur say "the women and the children" without laughing
the sorrow that the violin chords so well express at 1:12 - 1:43 is gut wrenching. I felt it would be so hard to make a character that i could love in the same way as John when we went thru RDR but they did it. Arthur is amazing.
Okay, I wanted to do a game with a bad Arthur, but I'll probably change my mind at the last minute, as usual
It's not just a game.
I Love you arthur ❤
“I ain’t looking for forgiveness, it ain’t about that.” -Arthur Morgan
Now that made me cry wtf
I had 2 scholfeld revolvers one with a black grip, gold metal and black engravings representing the dark side of Arthur and one with a white grip blue steal metal and white engravings representing the good side of Arthur. In Arthur’s last mission (redemption) I was shooting it when my horse died it was in the ground couldent find it so I could only use the good one I had high honor. Then in American venom John was using both of them I lost the bad one again couldent find it
Red dead depression
I started Bauling my eyes out because of this..
You..
You saved my life
You're a good man,
Thanks,but I'm not a good man
_why you are a good man..
_you are a good man Mister..
_you are a great man Arthur Morgan
_thank you feller..
Don't thank me
_thank you brother
_thank you Arthur
You are my brother...
I know...I know
Wish this was on SoundCloud so I can hear while running.
The game is THE best game
Imagine playing rdr2 in VR that would be fun
Taylor Charles Brown Edward Clark Carol
My cousin started playing rdr2, becauee i suggested him, now I don't know how to console him. Have I done the right thing?
May best games forever Red dead redemption 2 end Ghost of Tsushima ❤️❤️ master piece I miss you Arthur 😔
The only thing i am thankful to rockstar❤️🔥😭
Fantastic video ! Thanks ♥
the only game to make me cry, the only game to genuinely feel real - like i knew arthur. Rockstar always make great games, but RDR2 is exceptional, a masterclass of gaming. The best game of all time.
On my seccond play through I made know mistakes I stayed in chapter 3
Arthur Morgan reminds me of my grandfather..I never knew
Arthur!!!!!! Fucking Dutch!!! Love the work that when in this video.
I cry my fucking eyes out everytime i replay the last mission
Edit: arthurs last mission, not johns
Bro have you ever seeing a grown man cry like a little kid??? That's what this game did to me man. Specially because of the person that I got it from it was a birthday present. Shit hit hard.
I know these are mostly PS with some cross-overs.
"You're on your own noble, Carter out."
I actually never noticed that John gave the same ring to Abigail , that Arthur used to marry his women
We got connected to people and characters like arther and we belive they would live forever but in the end we are just human, we are not robots, magical space creature that can live forever, a god, a demigod or eny of that but we ARE human and we got to know our live span is short so we just got to be happy for what we got and we need to keep the happy memories with us so we can STAY happy and not greave over what has happened and we need to enjoy our lives and continue forward with those memories
i use to bully other kids for crying when they cry in movie theatres guess what karma's a bitch what a game ❤️ rockstar you need to know we need rdr3 not gta 6
I always remember you, arthur, dear my friend~ my brother~!!!
Artur Morgan 🙂💔
Great tribute helps draw inspiration to create my own 👍
The longer you play as Arthur Morgan, the more this stings the deeper the pain goes
Arthur Morgan is a good man but he missed his way and walked with bad people drawn him more in evil 👿 road
I would’ve game them so much more money if the game let me
God why did john have to go kill micah, he would have gotten to live the rest of his life with his family
I’m afraid too, just want to live my life the best I can
This game the end of the game if you’ve played it I’m not spoiling it it has a sad ending
Omg I have tears on my tears I have a whole wall well 2 walls now full of red dead redemption 2 photos mostly Arthur Morgan as he is my favourite person It hurts more when you've played the game over 100+hours and 4 replays with high and low honor
Yeah for being a video game character he feels very real. Roger Clark and rockstar done an amazing job
oh how i wish i could replay rdr2 for the first time again
in the start we wanned to play as John Marston, in the end we didn't wanned to leave Arthur.
