cant ship it to spain bro , amazing amazing piece , the sturdyness is perfect , and you can really use it and add kicks and punches while you swing with a very good "companionship" of the sword , bro , i really wish i could get it amazing eye you got , really amazing
Thats correct, I have one katana that predates my vegan journey, it has the buffalo horn and emperor node rayskin. other than that all my gear is cruelty free.
That's not the Cold Steel Chinese War Sword. It's the Cold Steel Chinese Machete. There's about a $400 difference. I think i will go with the one you have, the Chinese Machete. Good video!
@@junichiroyamashita I talk about this in the video, I'm sure there was historical war swords with thin blades just like this "machate" and used lesser carbon steel.
Yes compared to a wakizashi but not to a katana. The biggest issue i have is the floppyness of the nylon straps. I plan to make a more rigid saya for it. 🙏✨
Well As a Chinese who was born and raised in the mainland of China for my entire life I can definitely tell you first of all that Chinese War Sword don't have thousands of years of history..okay?The Chinese War Sword which you English speaking forigners mosty known were forged during the war with Japanese....which....Our War Sword were pretty low qualified during the war...Only some soldiers at Western North China were given these sword...the authority at Western North China combined these soldiers as a unit which called "大刀队" or "War Sword Team"....They're kinda like special force at that time...They were well trained specialist of Chinese War Sword which mostly using against the Japanese at close range combat....which almost all Japanese during the war can well handled bayonets at close range fight.....Secondly the painting of ancient Chinese army which you put in this video are soldiers of Ming dynasty and those weapons aren't War Sword....You see the Chinese melee weapons are like a big family, they looks very similar because some of them are actually just like father son,You get what I mean? Our weapons devolving in the war or street fight and probably some weapons just inspired other people to create similar but different weapons.Sometimes the authority think it's useful in the war so they just manufacturing it and provide it to our military...third...We don't use War Sword in our army these days. The picture of modern Chinese army Which holding weapons in their hands are coming from the China India confident at the border,if you take a close look it's more like a spear or guan dao and it's homemade.Well....this is what I heard in China, that's not first time that Chinese borders patrol personnel have a fight with Indians but let's not discuss who start it.Both side have an none official agreement which is both side must not use sharp weapons during fight.Indians hit us with trench and we hit them back with pipe. But somehow last time both side make it a big deal.after that we had those "spear",Dude,it's homemade,it's not authorized weapons for Chinese military,it was using to keep Indians away because it's long and it's sharp in the top
Excellent swordsmaship skills! Yes, indeed, multiable testing over time has proven that the Cold Steel hybrid Machete Swords are even more durable than many actual swords! The hybrid Chinese War Machete offers the user the all around ultimate in bladed instruments.
Developed from heavy peasant brush clearing blades, it's like a machete, sword and axe all in one, even a small shovel in a pinch lol. Imagine how fast an army with these could clear space for camp. And yes the tang goes all the way through the handle, the ring is part of it.
it is basically a scaled down Chinese glaive.
I have 3 of their swords as well as 6 of their machetes all 1055...
That's quite the arsenal fam!!

Almost got their Thai machete on their flash sale yesterday.
My experience is they are good until you bend them, then they ripple like a lake.

It is usually called the Chinese War Sword Machete so for someone that doesn't know Cold Steel it could be a genuine error.

Did you check how far steel goes into handle? I was thinking about making halberd of it ^^
about 1/8 inch
also id use the rings to swing it around the fingers :)
