When i was first looking for a chess channel to follow, i came across the levy channel. And I didn't like all the shouting, i even commented it, what's wrong in speaking the truth. Then i came across Agad's channel and this has become my favourite. I recently started following Hikaru's channel, but its not the most objective. There is a lot of "excuses" and stuff that i see in his analysis. Also some unnecessary insulting even. So ya for pure chess lovers, I would recommend Agad's channel. May be if you like unnecessary drama and attitude and insulting etc, you may like the other two channels.
So strange, I had literally just finished watching the Indian Tal video, then ten minutes later this video is uploaded! I shall sacrifice my time to gain an advantage by watching this video.
I have always wanted to sac the queen on move two but my opponents are too afraid to threaten the queen with the bishop on move 2, the sac is too powerful i guess
8:56 I feel like you should have continued this one move further; Qxf6 Bxf6+ to win the rook, or Kh5 Bf7 to win the exchange. Without these options, if white is able to preserve the rook on the 7th rank and keep threats of Bd6 or Ba7, this position would be pretty hard to play. Certainly winning by classical standards, but solid tricks to work with and the best line I thought of until realizing Bf7 existed ended with white having a bishop pair against a rook and 2 pawns, winning but far from trivial.
I cant really follow you, the light bishops are off the board... I assume you are talking about Bf8 and not Bf7 If that's the case black even has a kinda forced continuation after Kh5: Kh5 Qxg6+. Kxg6 Bf8 winning at least a bishop. If white plays Rg7+ black captures the rook Bxg7 and if white plays Re8: Rxe8 Ba7 Be5 and black wins.
Could you please not show the winner on the thumbnail. I don't follow chess news that's why I like to wait for your videos and the thrill of not knowing the winner makes it more exciting. Maybe split the left side of the thumbnail in half showing both of their photos.
Suggession.. Cover the game of Aradhya Garg vs a 2500 rated player (round 8) from the same event...which consists of a queen sacrifice (queen for some pieces actually) ... Just watched the game brilliant
Love your video's man!! I think they're helping us to become better chess players!! Can you make a video to show how to counter different openings? Some of the historical openings
I really love Kantholi Ratnakaran's games. His precision is always on the spot. A kind request "Could you please decode any of his best queen sacrifice game" I know you did it 2 years back, but I would like a deep analysis from your perspective. 👍
It would be nice for gm if they continued to play even if they find out they are losing in 3-4 moves. I wish "queen captures - queen captures - queen captures" had actually happened.
Isn’t the pawn takes pawn in between move with black’s bishop hanging on f3 a terrific blunder? …Qh3 quickly leads to checkmate with black’s second bishop waiting in the wings…
Tal: Complicate and they blunder.
Both Adham and Kantholi decide to complicate the game at the same time.
Tal: Slow claps in heaven.
Tal could say that, but most chess players blunder themselves when they complicate.

Hey Agadmator, looks like the description still contains the Adolph Anderssen game from yesterday.
@9:53 why not simply 1... Qxa4, attacking the other passed pawn (on a5), and preventing against its advancement to a6?
It leads to a drawn position after Bd6 Rxb7 Qxb7 Qxa5 (or Qa1+ followed by Qxa5), so Black would have given up his advantage.
