One of the very special human aspects of this class is the wonderful fact that so many, if not most of these boats, are built by people with no previous boat building experience who then went on to sail a formidable adventure, all alone, in their home built nutshell! All that trapped potential, finally released by a crazy little idea to create a new and affordable class. Well done Don. Well done everyone. I am very inspired by you all.
Really cool boats! Do they plane or are they strictly displacement hulls? What speeds have been reached? I don’t see a tracker on the website. Has anyone reached the finish yet?
They seem to build them from scratch , quite impressive . Though im sure ine could always pay to get someone else to do it like a boatyard or carpenter

Would the rear solar panels interfere with the windvane?
Yes it does interfere.
Go easy on the burgers, some time at sea will be a good thing
Dumb question: Do they build these boats from scratch, or does a manufacturer make them?

All the parts are cut out with a CNC machine and shipped to the builder
