I still can not comprehend the problem people had with this movie back in 2005. It was completely accurate. Everybody was in their characters. The story was just right,

This one wasn't that bad. The sequel sucked so bad it retroactively made this one look terrible. This one ain't great, but it's no Morbius.
@Elthenar I have to disagree the sequel was good too the only thing wrong was galactus. And basically turning Johnny into super Skrull
I think this movie is great. To the person who said morbious was great, its literally the only action movie ive fallen asleep to not once but 7 times... I give up watching it

The golden era when superhero films were more about the characters’s lives and less about high action scenes…this was amazing. ❤️

@@SeriousDragonifysadly the planet doesn't have 100 years. We are closing in on the end of 2000 years since Christ. The planet has been dying exponentially for all that time. Already some areas are not inhabitable. There are talks of evacuating regions of the globe either because of summer heats or the ocean.
Even after everything that had happened Ben’s wife still had the absolute audacity to not only reject him but to place the ring on the ground so he couldn’t pick it up with his large hands. Does she not realise that looks don’t mean everything. Not only that but when Ben tried to explain to her what had happened she ran away like he was some sort of monster

"Looks" also matter . I accept that looks don't mean everything but appearance inevitably does have a decent part to play in relationships .
It also showed that they weren’t meant to be together. I prefer Kerry Washington’s character over his ex-wife honestly. With all of her senses heightened, she had to have gotten the idea of what he looks like and I thought that was beautiful

Still can't comprehend how Susan needed to take her clothes off to turn invisible helped the non-invisible Reed and Johnny get passed anything. It's ALMOST like the writers just wanted an excuse for her to have to get naked for a scene.

I still dont understand the hate. Chris Evans is the best Johnny Storm we have... and probably will ever have. But the hate makes it impossible for other, better filmmakers to take established characters like this and improve on them.

Wouldnt it have been a lot easier to go for the gap between the doorframe and the door directly above or below the lock? No lying on the floor, only minimal use needed of his very new powers which he hasnt used much and doesnt understand.
To be fair, Reed is supposed to be academically genius yet lacking practical intelligence, so its not out of character ^^'
