As someone who's old enough to remember when the song originally came out, watch it become one of the earliest internet memes, see it get overused, fade away, revitalize Rick Astley's career, and now come back as this work of art, it brings me quite a bit of joy and hope.
I came here from Caitlin Myers Japanese rendition with this tune, and like some of the other comments here I really hope youll eventually create a full rendition, if only so Myers can do the entire song himself and give us the full Anime OP we all crave.
I just imagine an anime with this opening, and the end is just the most wholesome and emotional sht to ever happen, just to be revived in a sequel seven years later and have to get cancelled due to be "less good than the original"
