[MH3U] Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate - High Rank Glacial Agnaktor - Echo Location

Today we're going to be fighting an Agnaktor! Not just any old Agnaktor, but a rather icy subspecies called the Glacial Agnaktor! This guy is largely the same as a regular Agnaktor with one huge difference: every time he burrows, his armor hardens and you have to wait for it to melt. For that reason, the Glacial Agnaktor can be a slower fight and tough to kill quickly.
Let's kick some ice! yeah, i said it.

If you get iceblighted, roll a few times to get it off of you. Yep, it doesn't work ONLY with fireblight, it works with every blight i've met so far (can't say if it works with dragonblight tho bc i haven't been been dragonblighted yet). Of course, it takes more rolls than fireblight/slime. But i can assure you it works everytime. I never have to keep nulberries with me since i found out about this trick

If you have the materials to upgrade Flamestorm to Flamestorm+ chances are you also have the materials to craft Salamanders (next DB up in that set), as they both use HR Agnaktor parts. That said, I used Deadeye Revolver on this dude.

When you "glitched" him, I think you just knocked him out of the attack. It happens.
You can totally cut off the tail, by the by.

yeah i have the level 10 Brachydios armor set. Took me about 12 beatdowns on him, but it was worth it.

The quests after lurker's in the wood won't show up for me :( I've done are of the key quests according to the wiki, but nothing happened.
EDIT: I just had to wait for the argosy captain.

Is the Agnaktor the fire version of the Lagiacrus? 'Cause their move set is pretty much the same.

Julianandlee Lebo They're both leviathans. Their moveset isn't the same, but rather quite similar, and they do share a couple moves.
