Thanks for the encouragement & reminder Community & friends do require work to start & maintain. Enjoy your channel
Laura it is so great for you to share your own experiences. No doubt you are helping many other women. A blessing for them, and I pray a blessing for you as well. Hope Co op was amazing!!
True in so many ways... wise lady!
Very well said. Have a great day.
Thanks, you too!
Very good and sound advice.
Thank you!
Libraries are another great place to visit in this area too.
Yes they are!
You are amazing, Laura! My daughters don't live too close by, but I love canning with them when they have time. My husband set each them up with honey bees this past spring, and now they call/text him more than they do me.😂
I see what you mean. I live in a small village (300 people) and I do go to village activities and do some volunteer work. But you meet a lot of the same people every time. I do have a part-time job but with not so many co-workers. So I started going to Swedisch class a few years ago in a city near by, and last year I did a beekeeping course ( I have bees now) . I also did al these things to start getting a live of my own again, because my childeren are grownups now and I do not want to smother them with my motherlove. Al those different activities come with different people that is very nice. I also have a vegetable garden and put my abundance of some vegetables out for people to take for free, that also gets you talking to people. I love it.
Beekeeping class would be so neat! It’s on my bucket list for when me kids are older and I have more time.
Blessings dear
You too!!
I struggle with community due to being an introvert with some trust issues. I have been slowly learning to open my self slowly to those around me in the attempt to build some kind because even with being an introvert it still gets lonely sometimes (even with kids and husband around)
I know it’s hard, but community can be so uplifting when you’re ready to try again!
It’s hard when you live far away from things.we live far from a lot of things. 34 miles to one Walmart and 55 Miles to the other Walmart. They are both towns. One has 12,000 people and the other around 5,000 people. Our town has around give or take 1,200.
It is! We are a long way from everything, just getting somewhere to create community is a trek 😬

I get it.
What is co-op?
Homeschool co op is when a big group of homeschoolers get together once a week and the kids can take specialized classes (like chemistry or math or a special art class) and have the opportunity to learn from another teacher and make friends
