After playing DW for the past 20 year when I purchased my 1st DW KIT IN 2004 I never thought I would see this technology but I’m sure glad I have. What a great kit. You get all the DW kits along with other brands in one. I think the the wireless is what I am the most impressed with. Incredible. All the hard work is done. The cymbals sound amazing.
Well I’m already subscribed to DW Drums. No harm in subscribing to this one!!!!

I can’t find hardware setting on Dw Soundworks, I’m using windows, there’s no option to open those settings

can someone here give me some advice. I was thinking of upgrading from A Roland avid 506 to a EFNOTE Pro 7 drum set but now DWe launched this amazing kit ... Wireless is still a new technology for live events so I may not use it as live performances yet. But maybe for just recording drum covers in my room would be a good option? I like the sounds . They probably sound better than EFNOTE PRO but I know and heard that EFNOTE has more dynamics for the cymbals including hihat cup sound which I dont think this DWe has....
So yeah I need some advice to see if this DWe would be a better option than the EFNOTE PRO 7 ???
go with efnote its killer .. played efnote 5 over 2 hours amazing sound quality and feel. i will buy it soon
Do the right thing...DWe all the way.
My church just returned our new DWe and bought the EFNOTE PRO 707, because the field cymbals were incredibly stiff and loud on stage and for us three drummers, the hi hat feels first draft snd doesn’t perform even close the the efnote. The snare throw off was cool though on the DWe. If we want to use a VST though, SD3 smokes DWe at this point, and we simply USB and run it back to the house through the stage box. Don’t need to though, the Efnote pro sounds incredible. Couldn’t be happier and didn’t feel like they were trying to upswell us, and customer support is incredible. My two cents, good luck!
@@DWeDrumswhat is that though? Help a potential customer find what’s right for them and you may get them in the long run. Short sell them and you may loose them in the long run, the way you’re kind of losing me with this.. I’ve dropped almost 30k of my own money on DW, but you have some things to learn from EFNOTE.

$11k bit out of my price range.
Can anyone comment on the feel and attack of the hi hats? It doesn’t seem to move like a real hi hat. The Roland vad706 hi hat moves way more realistically to a real hi hat set up. Can anyone who has played these comment on this? Hope to hear from someone.

The actual clanking sound from the stiff metal cymbals and hats cut right through even if you’re wearing headphones. Terrible for this price tag.
They sound so bad haha.
