jus bought the same car as this i freakin love it
you still love it?
@@yungtooli lmao, good question tho
@@minifly4926 you have it?
I have a 2012 2LT RS loaded with everything. The interior is nice. Its dual tone leather with leather on the dash as well. I like my interior.
awesome car
i'm on my second one now after owning one of those pos s550 mustangs for a while.
wow so nice to get back behind the wheel of one of these beauties..
if you have any doubts then dont..just go buy one..i've driven over 2 million miles in my life so know if a car is any good.
just avoid those junk mustangs at all costs..
Why do you say that? I drive a 2011 5.0 but I drove a 2015 5.0 and it felt slower, less snappy, and old car feeling.
IMO This car looks average with the regular headlights... if you want to wow people you need the RS package with the LED lights... THEN it looks fierce!!! Great car in general, just tweak the interior please with better plastic quality, more design and a steering wheel easier to hold. Sure the price will go up if they improve things, but ppl would rather pay a couple extra grand for a car that performs (and looks/feels) great rather that a Rustang
Love this car just the way it is. Thinking about getting one over a C5 Corvette.
You won't even turn attention at interior while accelerating :D
just got one. victory red i love it so much
I don't know what he meant by confused interior, I thought it was a breeze learning everything. I test drove all Challengers and Camaro's and the Camaro kicks dodges ass. The biggest fail for the Challenger was the vision. I have no problem with the Camaro but when i was in the Challenger, I was afraid to park it because I couldn't see anything. With the SS it comes with reverse sensors as well but with those long side mirrors, who needs it? I am so happy with my baby, I don't wanna stay home.
Stick shift.. 204000 miles. I test drive it every day!
Picking up a 6 speed manual ss rs this weekend. Amazing its still got tons of power all these years later
I received one around the time this video came out and have loved it ever sense. 204k miles is crazy because my 2010 2SS/RS has only 116,000 so far and I used it for work throughout the years.
i like that dark blue on the camaro. i saw the back of a camaro for the first time, i thought it was a ferrari.
Challengers look good but they're always third in sales.
flipfloplogic Now they’re first
Jordan Fournier they had to go overboard just to be in 1st
@@jordanfournier4366 and now they're discontinued LOL
I got into the Camaro 2010 I am 6 3 280 I fit perfect I plan to buy one soon
Great exterior but terrible interior. Put a navigation screen in there and some higher quality plastic!
Are you kidding me, navigation, where are we when you need a navigation screen, easier to get a smart phone and have 4G buddy, and the interior is 20x better then any other car, its an innovator both interior and exterior!
I am not a mechanic but i know somethings. The RS is a rally sport package and is just a sporty body kit really. The 93-02 was the top of the line a V8 with better suspension, handling and a few extras. The Z28 is pretty much the samething as the SS. The new Z28 is the top of the line like it was in the late 60s. (idk why they switched them in the 90s). The parts are kinda expinsive but are pretty much the same as any other V8.
thx. but i bought the stang. the maro was pretty kool with the style, and power;i did spin the tires a lil bit too on the test drive. but the seats kept me from buyin it and a few other interior features. i drive about 400 miles every weekend so comfort was the major concern so i bought the stang and i'm happy with it.
Never scoff at v6 powered Camaro's, instead thank the people that bought them. The overall increased sales volume made the LS3/L99's much cheaper.
This is the one Iam getting but in red jewel tintcoat cant wait . This car is awsome take it for a test drive and you will see
im copin dis whip its badass, cant wait
They should learn from Toyota on how to desing the interior with good quality. I own a 2012 camry and the inside looks awesome and the seats are comfortable. I want to get a camaro or a challenger next year but the interior looks cheap on both sides. Maybe ill go with a 370z.
Nice!

That’s when all the stuff on my seats end up on floor.
Both are amazing machines! You'll probably have to drive them both a couple of times before you can make a choice. Nothing wrong with that :) Good luck with what ever you buy.
i live in indiana but im stationed on base in north carolina so its a lil more than 400 now
@chargerowner4 Is the camaro worth it?
Tell me more about it.. Is it really that small?
Challenger srt8 is on my mind but I'm not 100 percent sure..
You prefer the challenger over the camaro?
@mkaczmarski i just test drove a 2010 ss MT today. shit was BRUTAL
im tring to decide if i want to get this or the 2010 stang. i like the performance but the interior for the camaro sucks. the stangs interior is way more user friendly but it doesnt have the power of the maro. its a tough decison.
@chargerowner4 Im like 5'6 and about 121 lbs.
Thanx for heads up.. It helped.
So u regret buying the camaro?
I've seen more camaros then challys
@D1am0nd77 You gotta test drive them both in all models. I did and feel in love with the Camaro SS. Just check out field of vision in both cars. I found the V6 Camaro better then the Challenger. Seemed to me the V6 Challenger had a slight lag when excellerating while just a tap on the V6 Camaro and your off. I commute in heavy traffic so I chose the 6 speed auto but if you don't, then get the manual! Everyones different and test drivings free so go do it!
I have some questions if anyone can answer through first hand experience. How does this car fair in the snow (RS, Z28, SS)? I have a RWD with 190 HP with snow tires and its still hard to drive in the snow. Two, how much are parts and tires? 3, any glitches with this car yet since its the first of its kind?
Thanks, man.
TestDriveNow Reviews by Auto Critic Steve Hammes 8year ago your stil here😕😑
No glitches really besides some had faulty battery cables. (I think that was only in the SS).
being a 2010 mustang owner, I like your mustang and camaro reviews. So many of the other reviews by other guys are total garbage.
I agree about the Mustang. However, with demand being so high for the Camaro (because its such an awesome car), I fear it too will become as common as the Zs and Stangs. Also, most people won't be able to tell the difference between an SS and a regular one. So that girl your trying to impress with your cool SS won't think its any different than her boyfriends base model. Also not horrible, it means only people that really appreciate performance will cough up the dough for an SS.
Every common sensed individual knows that the Camaro is the best! ;D
I like the looks of the Camaro. Now that mustang has the Camaro concept to copy they have made a good looking car (just my opinion). I've read that Mustangs are comparable in terms of acceleration, and superior in the twisties, performance is NOT just about acceleration and torque, though I do think Camaro SS still trumps the Mustang GT in overall performance, but barely... its going to be a hard decision, throw in the 370z's performance and I'm really confused...
thats why i was looking at the comfortability. they are too close to compare performance wise. you got to drive em to see which one you like. for me i bought the mustang because it drove easily and was able to take long distances without me getting a cramp in my ass. But its in what you like, for me it was the stang.
if i get a car like this i would want a 6 SPEED
"...and again it came equipped with the 6-speed AUTO, a $1,185 option. This choice also necessitates an engine modification"
...and a sex change. Don't buy a V8 sports car with an AUTO tranny
even if the challenger isnt being bought up as much lol wow
It's the Imperial Blue Metallic
This is not the top spec SS, look at those headlights, the top of the range SS has the Projector headlamps.
That's because most if not all of the packages on top of the SS base aren't performance based.
wow, gorgeous car!
lol any color man.. but yeah i see those pink and white ones too. ...disgustin. lol
i was being a smart ass. lol
Eu gostei ❤❤❤❤

i want this car :(
I dont understand y no one get a 6 speed manual
jayyoungai
I couldnt agree more
@s10eagles ikr..Samething i said i love these cars...they look so big shot lol....and later this year they suppose to release a chevy camaro convertible....
@rextuner03 to be honest the ss is a good car I'll give u that but the charger srt8 is much faster. U got to admit tho the charger srt8 is a bad ass looking car. I'm not trying to fight just to prove a point..
damn what would the insurance on this mother be for a 24 year old? any ideas?
Was this a review or a comparison?
@chargerowner4 Ok, Ima be real with u. I am thinkin of getting the camaro but the only thing is stopp me is despite the fact every wants one and most of them have one.. Why? Cause of the fucking movie and u know what movie I'm talking about.. In looks I gotta go with the challenger but the downside about it is it's heavy and kinda slow. What do u think?
@D1am0nd77 "it's more heavy" umm yeah sorry I can't let that slip past. Saying "it's heavier" would be the better way to put that bud.
@D1am0nd77 I love both of them. Honestly I can't really say which one I like more. They are both really sweet as far as I am concerned. Both have their plus and minuses.
@s10eagles and six-speed!!!
Koenigsegg's have no plastic in the interior.
It's stupid to even make that comparison. Two different classes of cars.
I have to get this no matter what! Id say that this baby wont be around more then 5 more years because of a lot of reasons. The camaro might still exist in name but they will probably put in some gay turbo 6 banger. I have to admit some of the V6's are amazing, but no 6 can replace the growl of a V8. Grab this baby or any ponycar out there that you like because the V8 is definitely on death row right now so come 5 years from now we might not be able to enjoy this beast. :(
2012: *Tesla EV has entered the chat*
The interior is a let down, thanks for noting that.
@123gwf white stripe
he perfers the slower one
U hear that? He PREFER the srt8 model
if i got 1580, i wanted two cars, ford mustang gt and camaro ss. and i don't spell wrongly and write sentences like u guys........wrong english
@grandamracer23 stay in school kid. thats why evos and sti's can kick any american cars ass? power isnt everything buddy.
@s10eagles My Camaro - Young Jeezy
killer video
*The V6 will probably last longer then the V8 when it comes to high mileage, and when that 100,000 mile warranty runs out without falling apart like a clown's car, and will keep some gas money in your pockets every week. IF they were reliable like Honda and Toyota, I'd buy one. It's alot of cash to spend on a car, for GMs Horrible track record of shitty cars that dont last. GM ITSELF IS BARELY LASTING. Yeah, good job America. 10 years later better interiors stilll dont come to mind either.
lol the warranty for these was 36,000 miles and 3 years. I bought one back then.
dont get a stang. everyone and their mom has a mustang.
@D1am0nd77 lol i cant argue with your ignorance.
It ain’t a muscle/pony car if it got a V6
A v6 couldn't technically be a muscle car, but a pony car, yes. Pony car was defined by it's body styling, bucket seats, etc. So all mustangs, camaros and challengers are pony cars/sports cars. Especially considering most of the smaller engines push out more horsepower than many of the previous generation pony cars.
@Certified Big Dog yea that’s true lol
Good car
But I prefer the charger srt8..I don't give a shit despite it's more heavy..charger looks better
@D1am0nd77 your way wrong. plus dodges quality sucks
@stephen123453 no they r just shit on wheels only the old american muscle cars were good
I would never fork out the dough they're asking for this thing with that shitty interior.
0:54 An $1185 Upgrade for a transmission that is mated to the shittier engine? Seriously
Every cars higher models look the same dumb ass mustang , camaro , challenger just badging and engine upgrades
Stopped the video at "came with a 6spd auto". test a real SS...
Color: Fail
