This song is just amazing and full of endless emotions. It will never die as it applies to so many small and big cities around the globe. Thank you Boss!!!!
It's the essence of the Boss - the lyrics being so sad and true; the soft rockmusic and most of all - the contact with the audience that is unrivaled by any other artist.
The way the audience just comes together in harmony and sings the chorus, this is what I miss about the world. This is how I wish the world was today. No arguing, no fighting, no accusations. Just everyone coming together in harmony and peace
Hi know what you'r saying,but you will get,some one who thing's there better,and brighter and,puting some one,down over age,there just sad,has know one one,is getting younger,and is just a number,from england,sending love,too you ❤
Absolutely glorious....he played the whole "born in the usa" album in Auckland NZ... just after the Christchurch earthquakes..he dedicated my home town to the people of Christchurch ...and coming from Christchurch...it really touched your sole.....grown men were crying like baby's ..me included...ill never forget that feeling...truly incredible 🤘❤️
Bruce was not known as “ the boss” for his singing talent, initially. It became a myth, before the true story was told. Prior to being famous, Bruce and the band played many venues where he earned the name “ the boss” for distributing the money to each of the band members after the show. He was honest and acknowledged everyone involved in the performance. A Great human being who never stole the show because he appreciated everyone’s contribution and talent. His title obviously gained traction from his musical talent, and that is the true story of where his title originated from. He is and always will be “The Boss” ❤️
A prayer ,An anthem and tribute to all who lost fathers , brothers , mothers and sisters through gun violence...I am still shedding tears listening to this song.....we are so blessed to have you in our lives...you will always be the boss...
I grew up in his Hometown, Freehold NJ during the same era (1957-64). My next door neighbour was in High School with him. Been back frequently in recent years meeting old friends. The period before these the words in the lyrics was a good time to be there enjoying childhood. He sings of events after I left when things changed. The town has re-invented itself and is now a good social hub to enjoy good food and music. Bruce frequently shows up. My old friends often meet him for pizzas at Federici’s.

Being British, i would just like to say how he captures what i believe is the best of the USA with the lyrics and his accent. I have been fortunate enough to visit the States many times as a child with my parents taking me on fly drive holidays travelling hundreds of miles through different states and meeting the most fantastic people in this stunning Country. The Music , the Car's , the architecture and lets not forget the food. The best years of my life and i hope to take my family one day soon and make the same memories
I watched the video from the entire concert a few times😍 throughout the past 5 years. Every time, I'm transported back in time, and at the same time, even though I wasn't there, but I feel like I was at this live event, being part of this live audience.😍 Bruce interaction with the audience is amazing! Thank you for sharing.💖

I totally understand why this song has had nearly 30 millions views. Goosebumps, tears & lots of emotion in this song. His voice & presence on stage are incredible.
I haven't heard this song in 30 years, and I don't mind admitting, I cried. The words are so profound, the world can be a cruel, hard place, and what we all knew has be swept away in the name of progress, but at what price. Bless you Bruce.
I don't like living more in my hometown, because some new times came and rolling up. Many strangers came in my hometown last 30 years, who are uncultural and wild and they don't care about natives, town... But I can't go nowhere, so I must stay here and be sad about past times, when I loved my hometown so much. And it is so sadly....I'm 58 now... There is an overload of love songs. What Bruce does so effectively is touch the core. Sure, he has some "love songs" too (or more like PAIN songs) but he is a master of songs about the core of our souls. Our hometown, our fears, our desires, our insecurities. Bruce, THANK YOU and Patti and your great band!

Thanks for the love and support you showered on me . It's been wonderful having fans like you solidly behind me this is my way of saying thank you . Much love 😘❤️💯
The fact he can just calmly stroll around the stage with just a mic in front of like 60,000 people all eating out of the palm of his hand is truly remarkable. He’s got to be one of the greatest performers of all time. I cannot wait till March 2nd!
He effortlessly sings his words but all fans are enamoured me included. Was listening to him as a kid and like everything else went into different genres but since my father passed 5 years ago I’ve got a new found affinity again with The Boss.

A touching, impressive and beautiful song in absolute melodic harmony that can be listened to ever and ever again. Love it! An other milestone in music history! ❤👍👍👍
London is such a great crowd😄👍😍too many Americans are sore about Bruce's politics to appreciate his fine music. Bruce is a Legend and a fine human being always caring about the plight of the less fortunate ❤️
I could care less about his political views. Been a fan of his since I was a little kid, back in the 70's. Love his music, especially this song. Hits home.

This song brings nostalgia, I was blessed with many years of happy memories from my grandma and grandpa. They’re gone now but not forgotten, they’ll remain in my heart forever. RIP see you later.
Even after listening and watching this beautiful masterpiece for the at least 1000st time, it is still moving me to tears. One of the best and emotional songs ever have been written. Great audience performance, too. Everyone ever been to a gig of the Boss knows it is like a katharsis, not only just a „concert“.
Bruce live is life defining. You go into and come out a changed person. The atmosphere around you is pure electric. The crowd singing along to every single word the Boss utters. I've seen him a couple of times, and I'll never forget any of them. One I went to I had a problem the next day I was due to work, but I'd wrecked my voice singing for three hours straight!
I always heard of Bruce Springsteen and I think my first song I loved was born in the USA and wow after so many years later after not listening to Bruce since I was a child .I am amazed how much I love his music and I never knew what I missed out on but to me I am so grateful for his music .Love every song now
I grew up listening to The Boss, thanks to my parents. I'm 44, now my kids listen to The Boss, thanks to me. This song always brings a tear to my eye. Loved it as a kid, still do today.
Thanks for your music .I saw you twice in Holland ,once with my Father past away for 3 years at 80 years.Your music inspired him for his paintings and was always waiting for your new album.Life is like a nice painting and good music it improves with the Years ,thank you for your music
This is my favourite version of this song. I love how the crowd is singing along to your song. Only Bruce knows how to get the crowd singing along to any song.
2023 and such a great song for any home town. The Boss knows how to tell a story. The crowd just gives me goosebumps! Been listening to this for 100th time plus more! ❤
My home town in Jersey. I would like to see it one more time. Time is going by so fast, now in my 60's, when I was there growing up time seemed to be going by so slow. To the young one that read this, enjoy the time you have. Go for your dreams, the friends you have now, holding you back won't be here when you get older. A friend will come pick you from jail, but good friend will be there with you.
For most of the performance, the way it was filmed made it seem like he was singing to himself. But at the end you see and hear that the crowd was with him the whole time. Such a powerful feeling of shared memory and experience.
Die Musik beschreibt perfekt die Gefühle, die man hat wenn man an seine Stadt denkt, in der man seine Heimat findet. Die Worte begleiten sie nur. Nicht umsonst heißt er "Boss".
1992 I was 17 years old. I bouht my first album in my life. It was Bruce Springsteen " Humain touch". Now I'm 49 and still enjoying listening to Bruce. The BOSS is always the Boss. From Tunisia 🇹🇳

The beauty of this is that everyone can picture his own hometown with this song. Amazing songwritting.
I agree 100% , or her hometown too.
Been to my hometown, it changed *far* too much. 😞

LonePeakMusic That’s what I love about Springsteen. His songwriting is amazing. In my opinion, he’s on par with Woody Gunthrie, and Bob Dylan.
Yes!
Shout out from North london!
Not me. Didn't really have one. Never got the whole Americana solidarity of community. I always wished I had. G'ma had a coffee table book of Norman Rockwell's Sat eve post paintings. Springsteen often reminds me of those.
He's a genius.
I love it. Right now am in tear because of home the man in my life treating me. Am here playing and playing. My children can't do much to help me . But am a fighter and I know God is going to.make a way for me ❤

My son is one year old, and he is in love with Bruce, and especially with this song. ♥
Get him hooked now man. Back in the day my pop hooked me on guests like Buddy Holly and Sam Cook, Rare Earth, The Guess Who etc and music has stayed in my soul ever since.
Our son is almost 1,5 years and he also loves the Boss 😍 likes to fall asleep while listening to him
Thanks for the love and support you showered on me .
July 15th for me!
You must be narrow minded.
He effortlessly sings his words but all fans are enamoured me included. Was listening to him as a kid and like everything else went into different genres but since my father passed 5 years ago I’ve got a new found affinity again with The Boss.
