  • This video collage that I made is from the game show, "The Diamond Head Game" that aired once a week on syndication from January 11, 1975 to September 6, 1975.
    The host was Bob Eubanks.
The theme song is called "Diamond Head" by Alan Thicke.
The first 5 pictures (that I could only find) is from the Diamond Head Game. The second is a tribute to Diamond Head in O'ahu, Hawaii. Enjoy.
All episodes do exist, and the show was rerun on GSN from October 1997 to April 1998 during the "Dark Period".
NOTE: Copy and paste " &fmt=18 " at the end of the URL then refresh to get a stereo sound.

And as Bob Eubanks said on Card Sharks in 1988:
"I did a television show called The Diamond Head Game one time-- daytime and nighttime! It was the worst piece of *imitates censor beep* that anyone has ever witnessed. Didn't hurt my career!"

I was a contestant on the show. They filmed it not on diamond head but on the north shore at the Kuileima hotel

Me too! I won a Dishwasher and Trash Compactor. I would love to find the episode. I was 18 years old. Long time ago, lol

This should've been a Wheel of Fortune Prize Cue for a trip to... where else? Hawaii!

Sounds a lot like "Hawaii Five-O", and for good reason, I'm sure.

I can picture a chase scene in an episode set to this.

In San Francisco, KPIX had this show, along with Fishman-Freer's sister show Dealer's Choice. Found that out via US Game Shows Wiki.
Also found out how much of a syndicated game show powerhouse channel 5 was back in the 70s-- it also carried TPIR with Dennis James, Concentration with Jack Narz, To Tell the Truth with Garry Moore, The New Treasure Hunt with Geoff Edwards, and Name that Tune with Tom Kennedy (before that show moved to KRON).

And now, from the travel crossroad of the world in beautiful Hawaii, it's The Diamond Head Game, starring Bob Eubanks!

I'll vouch that statement. KVRL (now KRIV Fox 26) in Houston had that show @ 7:30 pm, right aftger sister show, Dealer's Choice.

Trivia question: What now defunct board game company made home versions of both Dealer's Choice (called Place Your Bets!) and The Diamond Head Game? I had BOTH of those games for YEARS! Answer: Gamut Of Games. BTW, I re-bought the Dealer's Choice (Place Your Bets!) home game some time ago on eBay.

I think I might have your episode...I remember seeing an episode where Bob made that step stool comment.
What name did you go by on the show?

I watched it every day on either Channel 9 or 13 in Los Angeles. Didn't really care about the show, but man I had a MAJOR crush on Bob's assistant Jane Nelson. Man she unknowingly did some what I then thought were weird things to my then-7-year-old mind (and a certain part of my anatomy as well).

The Diamond Head Game was on KNBC channel 4 in Los Angeles at 3pm or 4pm. Didn't know it lasted six months in 1975. I thought it lasted about a year. Jane worked on 'Dealer's Choice' with host Bob Hastings and later, Jack Clark. I thought Jane looked a little hot myself.
