I swear. If only my favorite 40k content creators truly knew how much we all need them. As the world we live in becomes ramped up towards a living nightmare of civil unrest and shadows of another world war...it's nice to have this content consistently to both distract and comfort...whilst enriching our love of our current hobby. I hope the world stabilizes and we can all just enjoy ourselves...but in the meantime, thanks for making all this easier for us.
Because if warhammer has taught us anything. It is that a stable unchanging state and having everyone focus on enjoying themselves, is the best thing for humanity moving forward. I see you chaos heretic.
The world was too stable for too long. We asked for this by threatening nuclear annihilation against anyone who stepped out of line. Now we reap the consequences.
@40KTheories I am as well. I knew they wouldn't destroy Slaanesh or anything, but maybe they could've taken the Eldar's battle with Slaanesh in an interesting new direction.
Think they've mentioned it a few times in Podcastus, that they could take it in the direction of what they did in AoS, where basically Ynnead goes punching a whole bunch of souls out of Slaanesh. Which in itself is basically the plot of Elder Scrolls Online, come to think of it. The Eldar Scrolls, if you will.
So something I've never been clear on, what happened to Eldar souls BEFORE the birth of Slaanesh? I thought it was implied that all sentient beings (at least the ones with "souls") entered the Warp upon death and would eventually be devoured and/or destroyed (with a few exceptions) but it seems like the Eldar only had this problem after Slaanesh's birth, so did their souls somehow survive in the Warp before this?
The warp was stated to be much calmer prior to (the events of, and leading up to) The Fall. In fact the 2nd edition codex states that their souls would peacefully dissolve into the warp upon death. I think it also mentioned how said souls would eventually be reincarnated into new bodies, but don't quote me on that latter part just yet.
@@40KTheories The last bit of that was taken from The Silmarillion, wherein Elves would occasionally be allowed to be reborn back into the rest of Middlearth from the Halls of Mandos...given the rest of the early 40k and WHFB lore being "inspired by" Tolkien's work, I'm not surprised to see it.
Imagine how many problems the eldar could solve if they just had one humble, pragmatic guy who didnt have time for the species wide supirority complex in charge for once.
Some of it is from various codecies, others from the Fantasy Flight Games RPG books, some is fan art and at least one is a piece I myself have commissioned. Links to the fan artists portfolio pages (that we could find so far) are within the video description. :)

Not going to lie, it’s kind of true. Plus we would be waiting FOREVER for GamesWorkshop to fill in all the details and whatnot.
Nothing like the grimdark of eternal war to distract us from the possibility of actual world war; btw, that was sarcasm . . . .

Thank you, Remleiz, for letting me narrate this video. I had so much fun!
I always loved Iyanden all the way back when I first started. Possibly my favorite Eldar faction, after the Exodites, of course
Love the new intro! I love this channel, it's because of yall I got into 40k. Remy's voice helped put my son to bed for 15 months.
The Eldar are a faction that is criminally underutilized in the lore. It would be nice to get to know more about them.
I'm just sad that GW have seemingly abandoned the Ynnari plotline.

Nice vid, Rem....
Naerina's voice is like a fine wine.
A true treasure.
Great video. Its nice to know what Iyanden is about for my Iyanden BFG fleet.
Wonderful video! I adore the old Space Elf lore and Naerina's voice is so soothing ♥
Thank you! Aren't you a sweetie. ^^

I love Eldar! I hope you do Biel Tan soon!!!
LOVE THE NEW INTRO!!
Imagine how many problems the eldar could solve if they just had one humble, pragmatic guy who didnt have time for the species wide supirority complex in charge for once.
Great stuff and love the new intro!
I wonder if they would ever try to recruit others into their Craftworld.
And remember, Marina: "THE PRICE IS SHYTE!"
Where are you finding some of this art? It's beautiful and I need more Aeldari wallpapers.

Great Video 🙂
Holy shit eldar content!
NEW INTRO! WHOOOOOOO!!!
Still wishing we had Exodite armies…
At least you could (technically) make them in 2nd edition.

Bring Forth The Torch!
40k love being inspired by Poe. And I'm here for it.
Like the intro
sweet lore
Oh cool, new intro!
Oho a new intro? It is well done.
Iyanden, aka. Eldar Lamenters.
I might be dead, but I'm still going to fight!
What if ferus didn't hesitate on istvan
Never trust an elf, even a space elf.
Il-Kaithe is the best but Iyanden isn't bad.
The Marge Simpson faction.
Does that make Alaitoc the Homer Simpson faction?
I liked the old opening, it was better.
A 16 min. video? This is so blasphemous it's borderline heresy...
I’ hate elves
