GORILLA Dad Golo and Son Indigo at Budapest Zoo (July 2018)

Here is a short video I took during a visit to Budapest Zoo in July 2018 of beautiful majestic silverback gorilla Golo and his tiny baby Indigo, who was just a few months old at the time. Look how gentle Golo is with Indigo as he helps him along around the gorilla family's indoor enclosure. They were a joy to watch. I adore gorillas.
Although it's always preferable to see gorillas in the wild, many zoos' breeding programmes are very important to help keep species alive. Thanks to us humans gorillas are so critically endangered and in many ways these gorillas here are at least safe and protected, well fed and looked after at this great zoo. In the wild they are either being hunted to extinction or their natural habitats are being destroyed. Humans need to change their damn destructive ways and stop killing off our planet and every other species on it!
