Awesome video was stressed out and get me angry and frustrated and almost punched my cat after I knew I needed to change my headlight in my S60. It was a Sunday and I don’t like moving on Sundays because I work six days a week. This video was phenomenal. They put me in a good mood, and his lighthearted and humor telling me it’s very easy got me through. God bless this man I shall continue.
This is the best video I have ever watched. Thank you for doing such a detailed video, and noting the kind of screw needed for the operation. I was able to replace the bulb in no time. Thanks
Thank you for showing the physical unplugging of the old bulb. I’ve gone through at least 4 other videos that skip past that part because they assume it’s obvious for my car that was actually the toughest part.
@@alexandraboff6632 - If the haze is on the outside then check any local auto parts store ( or even some place like WalMart) for a “headlight restoration kit”. The Meguire’s brand kit has worked well for me.
Yeah; I ended up giving up (as I don't have those screw drivers easily handy, and was juggling 5 other things this weekend and couldn't devote 3 hours to trolling UA-cam). Ended up paying about ~$75 for the O'Reilly's Auto Parts to change it for me (in future I may try this on my own though).
There is no alignment / adjustment possible on these headlights. On the HID headlights I think you have to disconnect the battery but not on standard halogen bulbs.
It’s possible that you have HID headlights and these are regular halogens. I’ve heard that changing the HIDs is different so you might have to go to a shop. 😞
Easiest car fix of my life! Thank you!!!
@@DanielRWoods - glad it helped!

Used your video to replace a bulb. Followed your step by step. Helped 100%. Thanks.
awesome! Glad it helped!

It is obvious. It's literally the same as every other car since like 1980
Great help! Thank you! I replaced my stock OEM halogens with aftermarket LEDs and it’s so much better.
dang never thought it'd be this easy! definitely saved a bundle doing it myself, thanks!
Gonna give it a try thanks to this video! Thank you!
@@lsanderson40 - you can do it!
Diego, thank you so much for this video, it was perfect! We followed it and we saved so much money because of your video. Thank you.
Great video. Thanks! Everything went perfectly even in the 18 degree weather.
Thank you so much for this easy and informative "How to"!! Now if I only had one for the Starter on my sons 2005 V50 ;)
Thank you! I’ve worried about this all day! Now I’m kind of excited to do it!
Thanks Diego. Going to help my hubby change his car's bulb shortly.
Glad to help!
Thank u so much for this video...I just changed mine on my own...without those crazy labor fees...yay me!!!
great video, any ideas how to clean the haze of the lens that is really bad?

Thanks, Diego! You saved me a lot of misery! 👍🏻

Yay!!!! This single girl thanks you!! I tell my daughter, you don't need a man, just a manual 😂. But you were my manual and a man!!
@@joanquattrocchi8023 - so glad to help! 😅
Thank you! I now know how to change my headlights.
Thank you! You made it so easy! Until I dropped a screw 😅
Thumbs up to how well you explained it.
Do you know if its the same way for the late 20teens S90 as well?
I don’t know but i suspect it is. If you open your hood and see those metal rods then the answer is “yes”. 🙂
Thank you 🙏 this was so helpful
Don't you need to re-align the headlights afterwards? Or disconnect the battery beforehand?

Thank you for replying! Happy Holidays!@@Diegohall7875
are those directional light bulbs ?
No, they are fixed straight ahead.
H9 high beam to replace also turn counterclockwise?
Yes, they both turn counterclockwise to take out.
@@Diegohall7875 Thanks. Low beam i got D3S its the same as h11 as yours?
That I don't know.@@WojtekCBRF
@@WojtekCBRF Your car has HID and will use the D3S bulb.
Appreciate it Diego!
Do I need to unplug the battery first? 🤷♂️
No you don't. I would, however, do it with the engine off and the lights switched off to be safe.
@@Diegohall7875 replaced both yesterday, thanks 🙏
H11 or H7?
Thanks, for once i did something on my car beside putting gas in it, without my husband assistance 😅 lol
Solid instruction!
thank you, great video
You the man bro!
I have same color same model. Still got the car?
No, i finally got a new smaller car at the start of the pandemic. I sure miss that turbo!
Thank you!
thanks man
It was so cool and easy to do until they made it a Torx screw for no reason
It comes with the torx key in the trunk
Hat do you do if the pull stick is broken?
Ooh sorry! I have no idea!
Not a single pull stick on the 2009 :(
Ugh!!! It’s such a nice feature!
Thanks.
Iv did this but my bulb aint working..help
I’m afraid that if a bulb change didn’t work you might need a mechanic. It could be many things. Sorry I couldn’t help!
Where can i adjust headlights?
Thank you
Not easy on an 05
Eyy fancy seeing you here
My plug is not like that.
