I doubt, Becky, that you'll even read this comment on a 2+ year old video, but I just want to tell you how much you fill my heart with peace, love & simple goodwill, & your wonderful videos continue to deepen my Christian faith....Thank you for your loving kindnesses & for spreading the love of God, as well as sharing your WONDERFUL recipes ..
Was thinking, whatever your skills there is a way to serve Christ and this is a wonderful example. These videos will help a lot of households be alright.
Thanks for the great, fast recipe. I find that the more I share my faith and talk bout Him, I fell more connected to Him and it keeps my faith in the fore front of my daily activities. I don't just pull the faith card out when I need to cheer someone up, I blab about the Lord all the time. People probably think I'm that crazy "church lady", but that's OK!! You are an awesome teacher. Keep it up.
Hi Becky. A northerner here who was married to a KY gentleman before his home-going several years ago. I learned to love many 'hillbilly' customs and recipes. Thank you for sharing all that you share... brings back such fond memories. Really look forward to trying these. God bless!
My Pastor always said you should have a 5 minute testimony so when the time comes your prepared. I find that my life has tons of examples to help share my faith. Lol I can’t wait to try these rolls Thank you
I just want you to know that I watched and went right into my kitchen and made these for our dinner. They were easy to stir up and I can’t wait for them to come out of the oven. Thanks to you for sharing Aunt Pork’s recipe and technique. I loved your comments about sharing our faith. Thanks for the video! 😎
I love easy, delicious and quick. Thank you, Miss Becky for this genius roll recipe. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ shower you with blessing and keep you safe.🙏💕💕xx
HI Becky Love your channel and the simplicity of your recipes just happened to be on I think God lead me there and also love the fact you share your faith when so many people are afraid to .keep up the good work God Bless
Made these today for the first time. They were delicious! But next time I think I'm going to increase mayo to 4 tablespoons for a little extra moistness. Thank you so much for the recipe!! I always enjoy watching you!!!
Thank you for your advice on letting quick breads sit for 15 minutes and also for sharing our faith with others. I have always been hesatant to do this. Everyone knows I am a Christian. If they tell me they or a family member aren't feeling well or something else is wrong I always try to ask them I can pray with them or for them or that person. And even my 12 year old granddaughter will tell me about someone at her school or their family that is sick and I tell her to close her eyes and I will pray with her for that person and she can tell them at school tomorrow she and I prayed for them but I haven't just ever shared my religion with someone. I will try to do better. Thank you.
Love your channel and your recipes. Made these for the first time today, and they're so easy (and tasty) it hardly seems worth the work to make others! Thank you!
These look delicious these would be so easy for me to stir up I'm 74 and can't stand up for a long time so I'm really going to try this might be something I use all the time
Hey Becky, thank you for another great recipe and I will make these for supper tonight. I pray you are doing well and I think of you real often and hope God will continue to bless and bring you comfort.
Thank you for sharing your mayo muffin recipe, never thought of making a quick roll like this for dinner! I have a delicious chocolate mayonnaise cake recipe that I’ve made for 44 years. My dear Auntie Sis passed the recipe on to me as a new bride in 1975.
I love this site. I want to make the shepherds pie too. I am going to make these rolls with dinner tonight. I love the Lord am so glad to find your site. It's like a great fellowship time.
I tried these tonight & they were outstanding! Very tasty. Thank you for the recipe. Will make again for sure. W / my health not so hot, come Thanksgiving I may do these instead of yeast rolls. I have the whole dinner minus the turkey to make & it'd sure save time as the rest of the meal takes all matter of time as well. These are about as good as a yeast roll anyway.
Well besides looking delicious they are "Magic Muffins" as well because I swear that you put five in the oven but came out with six! I love it! The Bakers Half Dozen! I love watching you cook and your down home recipes and knowledge you bring and give out.
Thanks for this video. I do have those ingredients handy, and I'm going to try this. It is so easy. ( If you could, please pray for me. I am having some difficult issues right now, God knows what they are, thank you ).
Becky you are a magician! 5 went in and 6 came out! 😊 .. when my family was young i used to make drop biscuits with mayo. . . I always put water in the empty muffin cups to keep them from smoking & burning, and it doesnt affect the quality of the bread. . .was going to make iron skillet oven baked cornbread tonite but now i think these rolls might be even better. Thanks for the tip about letting the batter sit for 15 minutes, i've never heard that before. Tfs👍
@@themandigirl Lololol , maybe she scrapped the spoon and found a piece of dough on the table or floor,,,( just kidding) prolly rearranged the dough after cleaning off mixing spoon!
My mama made these and like most of her food they were delicious. We didn’t use store bought bread. It was only for Dad’s lunch. But mama always made a variety of breads; mayonnaise rolls, yeast rolls, sweet cornbread, regular cornbread, drop biscuits, and more. Thank you for sharing this recipe and most importantly your Faith. It allowed me a little time to remember my mama, her Faith and all of her breads.
I REALLY enjoy listening to your recipes and talking about OUR GLORIOUS LORD AND SAVIOUR!! I used to do most of the cooking till I got to where I couldn't stand, I still bake some cakes and pies with my wife and daughters help. I am the youngest of 9 kids 6 sister's and 2 brothers. Momma made sure all 9 of her babies could cook, I drove a truck for 40 year's so my youngest sister taught again an I taught my daughter now she cook's me biscuits and gravy, I taught her well. Keep up the good work and GOD BLESS ❤❤❤
Don't know how I missed this been subd a long time it's snowing here in N W Alabama so I think I'll have them tonight with boston butt I cooked yesterday in instant pot thanks
I can't believe I missed this video until now. A preacher I used to work with gave me this same recipe (doubled) forever ago. He called them Angel Muffins because of how light, fluffy, and tender they are. He also told me you can add to it to make great breakfast muffins. My fave was adding a package of real bacon pieces and a cup of shredded sharp cheese. I haven't made those in years, think I'm gonna make some this weekend. It inspired me to change my cornbread. I dropped the eggs and oil from my great grandmother's recipe and put 2 big spoonfuls about the same size as large eggs in it instead. She taught me to make cornbread and biscuits and she never measured her ingredients in either so there's not really an actual recipe. I still have her old wood bread bowl that she made biscuits in. It's a decor piece for me. But she kept her biscuit dry ingredients in it and just covered it with a tea towel when she was done making biscuits, dumplings, her pot pie topping, etc.
Thank you Becky, and God bless! I'm going to try these for sure! When my brother and I were growing up my mom use to ask us what kind of cake we wanted her to bake us on our birthday. We got our choice of cake and our choice of meal for supper. I always wanted pineapple upside down cake, my brother however loved her chocolate mayonnaise cake every year. This cake was delicious! Have you ever baked this cake? If so would you do a video of this? Thank you and God bless you and your family 🙏🙏❤️❤️
I am definitely going to try these! Back in the early 60's I started doing a lot of baking from "scratch", using my mother's Betty Crocker Cookbook. There was a recipe I made often for a chocolate mayonnaise cake, and it was fabulous! I was still a teenager with a picky younger brother, and he got to where he would beg me to make one every weekend! I had forgotten about that recipe and regret that I didn't write it down before the cookbook was destroyed. You are right in that mayonnaise adds moisture and a nice texture without the taste of it. Now I need to get busy on the internet to try and find that cake recipe again!
