- Welcome to another video. On today's episode we are installing some traction bars onto our 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali Build. We got these bars from a company off EBAY. The bars themselves are awesome and affordable. The shipping did take longer then normal and the bars and brackets came in a bit scuffed up but with a little polish and clear bra (PPF) they are looking new again. Those are ok but for real use they should have Heim joints at...at least one end for adjustment...the brackets also look a little thin but I guess you get what you get from China...What is the side wall thickness for the tubes...and lastly what was the cost...
These aren't from China. They are built by a shop. And i totally agree with you about the heim joints. These were around $350. So that makes these the cheapest traction bars I've found. And i don't do any crazy off roading so im pretty confident that they will last.

Hi Alex I don't have a pickup but I do have a Nissan Xterra 4x4 it's all completely stocke wheels everything I was wondering if they make those bars for my truck and another question how do you know how long to make the bars in the back is there some kind of geometry for it or something like that

Hey did you jack up the truck to put on the brackets on the U-bolts?? Please respond I'm doing mine today
Hey, no I didn't have too jack up the rear to throw on the u bolt brackets. In my case those brackets went onto the stock u bolt axle plate. So just unscrew the u bolt nuts and put that bracket on and reinstall the nuts to hold your traction bar bracket and stock u bolt plate. Hope that helps
Would these fit a extended cab truck? Instead of crew cab?
I'm not sure. I think they are like 70in long.

Do you think these would work for my 1500 crew cab short bed? I have wheel hop after my cam install an this is the style I'm wanting but cant find anyone who sales them. Sweet ass truck btw
My truck has the 6.5ft bed. I can give u there information if you want to call them and see if they can make some shorter ones for u. The bars look nice and they work.
I wouldnt worry about the hop but I'm hooked to a trailer often an would rather be safe then sorry. That would be awesome. There email or number would be killer. Really dont wanna spend 700+ unless I absolutely have too.
