Ended up going with the Sig 365 TacPac. I considered the glock 43 but to get an additional 6 rounds in the same if not smaller profile of the 365, it was a no brained. Night sights, grip texture and a manual safety fits the bill for me
Thanks for checking out the channel and the feedback. The Sig Tac-Pac is a great choice. I think you’ll really like it. Let us know your thoughts after you get some range time.
I just bought one and I liked how it fit in my hand. It’s my first gun and am anxious to learn to use it safely. I will update you as to my progress. And I did subscribe. Thank you.
I just pick up one 2 weeks ago at a gun show. I actually wasn’t the one I went to the show for. I was looking out for a Sig P365 SAS, but they are very scarce around here for some reason. But I looked at the hellcat, it was ok but I wasn’t digging the sights on it. Then I went to a booth of Glocks and pick up a 43. Man I tell you it wasn’t what I expected out of a Glock. Well, I walked out of the show with it. The capacity isn’t a issue for me, I am more of a bug out guy when shit starts to happen anyway. The grip is narrower but got a hogue grip to help put on that. The sights I do intend to change, but I like it better then the hellcat. I haven’t had any issue with mags sticking but the mag with the flush plate doesn’t just fall out when you hit mag release but it does come out. I am a lefty so that was what I wanted a lefty friendly firearm and the 43 is the answer for that. Anyway, good review man! You just pick up a new subscriber! 👍
Hey thanks for checking out the review and the wonderful feedback. I always like hearing from owners and their buying journey. Please share the channel with your friends and other enthusiasts.
I actually think my G43 has a crisper trigger than my gen 5 G17. It does feel heavier but there's less creep. I checked out the G43x and I really liked the thinness of the g43 over it as well as the grip length.
Add a houge grip sleeve and a Vickers tactical+ 2 mag extension! All for the cost of less than $30! Game changer, now you have best of both worlds, great grip, finger ext, more capacity and the ability to still print less than the 43x IMO
Put a few wraps of painters tape on the mag before inserting it. Then take a hair dryer and warm up the grip with the mag installed. Allow it to cool with the mag still inside. Should drop free afterwards. Same process helps the Shield Arms mags drop free.
Gotta make sure your finger is not pushing on the opposite side of the magazine release. Otherwise, you're not pushing it in, but just squeezing it between your finger and thumb. Probably why it works when you do it abnormally, but is a problem when pushing it in normally (when holding the gun normally and pressing the magazine release). Have seen a few people have this problem. Can be difficult to remedy (getting in the habit of lifting your finger off the opposite side of the magazine release).
A fully loaded OEM Glock polymer magazine does not come out / eject like their full size guns. At least that's my personal experience with my 43X MOS. I have no issues ejecting fully loaded S15 magazines though. Replaced the polymer mag release catch with the Shield Arms metal mag catch and it's a perfect EDC gun. No need to do stippling bud. Just use Talon Pro Grips and you're all set! Loving my setup very much. Thanks for the video!
I just got the g43 as my first gun, for a concealed carry. I actually really like the trigger pull and the feel in the hand, which is why I went for it despite it being 600$. I'm excited to take it to the range. What would you recommend as a +1 or even +2 magazine extension? I'd probably get that as my first mod.
Thanks for checking out the review. I think you’ve chosen well. The 43 is a great choice for a CCW. If you’re looking to add just a little more grip for your pinky I would go with the Pearce +1 mag extension. I think it looks like a nice factory part too. For a +2 It’s hard to say since there’s so many well know manufacturers and for the most part they’re anodized aluminum which to me looks kinda funky. The +2 extensions I’ve seen also look pretty bulky as well and I feel that if you go that route you might as well look for a 43x model. Let me know your thoughts.
@@ConcealedCarryChannel I think I might go with a +1 as it has about the same profile as the mag with the grip, and then a +2 for a spare if I carry one. That might change though after I start carrying and get a feel for what works best
Never been a Glock guy never shot one but a few days ago I was looking for my winter time pock carry to carry instead of my M&p bodyguard I came across a well used glock 43 with 2 mags and a kydex and pock holster for only 175 out the door at my local ffl I buy from took it to range a bit snappy but like it so far as my new pocket carry
Thanks for checking out the review. Take a look at the Sig Sauer P238 review I did. I really like that .380. I have two more .380’s in the cue that you will see in the next few weeks. Stay tuned and share the channel with your friends and other enthusiasts. Thanks!
Regarding the mag stick, if the opposite part of the mag release button is hitting your hand and not able to extend free, the mag will stick. Mine pops out when I press the mag release.
I have the same problem with the mag. I actually really like the grip compared to the M&P 45 and I have really small hands. I chose this one because I’m under 100 pounds so I needed something small without going to a .380 I love that the grip isn’t so aggressive and it’s easy to conceal.
Thanks for checking out the channel and the great feedback. I really appreciate hearing from owners themselves. Please share the channel with your friend and other enthusiasts.
Thanks for checking out the review and your feedback. It’s a good little gun. The groupings weren’t my best but far from my worst. The 3 and 5 yard groups where 👌. Please share the channel with your friends and other enthusiasts.
I’ve been considering some extra EDC components as part of the reviews especially holsters. Stay tuned in and subscribe so you know when those reviews are produced.
bought my first handgun yesterday, I was looking at the sig p365 but he never got one in so I got a call that a glock 43 came in stock and I couldn't pass it up. Got it for $450
Thanks for the review. Have you thought about reviewing the FN 503? It’s a direct competitor to the 43. I may be willing to loan you mine if interested.
Yes I’ve definitely looked at getting one. I’m gonna see if I can source one from NW Armory. If not I’ll definitely reach out back out to you. Much appreciated 😎👍
I notice you are wearing what appear to be Sony WH1000 noise-cancelling headphones when you shoot. I own a pair and wonder how well you feel they work.
I like them a lot. Bluetooth connectivity if I want it. It’s easy to use the noise cancelling features. I do put in ear plugs under them when I’m shooting short barreled rifles indoors.
Thanks for checking out the review. I would look into the DPM tunable guid rod spring system. If you decide to go that route please let me know your thoughts.
Personally I would recommend in person classes. I feel that you have less distractions and are able to ask more specific questions. I know that most if not all of them have a SOP for Social Distancing.
You can’t say that it’s not accurate, modern guns can shoot in the same hole repeatedly if you put it in a vice. Respectfully you just didn’t shoot well that day. You can’t blame the gun for your lack of proficiency with the weapon.
Thanks for checking out the channel and review. I take no offense to your statement. Certainly most handguns will shoot very similar groupings when locked in a vice. I own up to my inaccuracies on the range and say “It is one of the less accurate guns... that I have shot” Most viewers have the gumption to understand I am not you, nor am I perfect and my hands are not a vice. These are meant to be honest reviews even if I lack proficiency. Again, appreciate you feedback.
@@ConcealedCarryChannel ya I don’t mean any disrespect at all. I shoot my sig p320 more accurately then my g19. That’s not to say the one is more accurate then the other. Just that I shoot one better then the other. I like the channel brother keep it up! Happy Sunday!

The Glock 43 is more reliable then the Sig 365. The Sig 365 had issues and were fixed; however, it will never lose the unreliable stigma.

With the picky finger extension mag, I shoot 2.5" groups at 30 feet with my G43 NS and it's totally stock.

Pretty sure that’s a micro compact, the 26/27 is the sub and the 19 is the compact to the 17 which is the full size...
I too would think Glock would list it as a micro but for whatever reason they list it as a sub-compact 🤷🏻♂️
That 43 looks bigger than a micro. I consider a micro an LCP2. Could not see that as a pocket carry for example.

That little trigger safety (blade) sticking out from the face of the trigger caused me a blood blister on my trigger finger after 150 rounds.
