I will be buying one of these next year. I still have my Gemini 100 and it’s a keeper of an amp. Ares was too similar and Juno was too dry for my tastes. I have played the Orion at KSR and my god is it a badass amp.
@@wizardsouthJP That’s awesome!! It seems pretty tight and clear. Even with 6l6, to my ears, only judging by this clip of course, it seems to have a modded Marshall type tone.
@@bengirard1984 wouldn’t say it’s Marshall flavor but it has a cool grind to it which is reminiscent of modded Marshall’s with good saturation and harmonic content.
@@wizardsouthJPThis clip sounded awesome. Is this extra grind I'm hearing because of the the NFB control? It supposedly can make the power amp feel different, like going from a super modern smooth thing like a Diezel to a more punchy, open and raw vintage sound. Is this correct?
That's a great amp and nice playing
Sounds great!

That some classic DEATH you be ripping out there Sir?
I do appreciate it.
nice riffs
Little Orc amongst all the wizards .
Sounds insane. Loud enough for band?
Definitely loud enough for band settings, no question. Thanks
It's a 50w amp, only 3 decibels quieter than a 100w.
How does it compare to the wizard
Surprisingly well, I have a couple 40w Wizards and the KSR definitely fills the room and is a wall of sound. Killer Bang for the Buck package.
Man that sounds great!! Boosted or unboosted?
Straight in, no boosts

V30/Greenback mix
Does it matter what’s on the top left or right or bottom left or right when having two different speakers in a cab ? Love the crystal mountain btw
