That 3rd Galaxy kit is inspired by the clubs' very first kit from the MLS' inaugural year in 1996. I absolutely love the original crest & "GALAXY" across the front. Loving the content 🍻
Both of them totally missed the reason for the Canada Nike looking 1990's, and they even said it themselves. The logo was part of other sports - not football. That logo was used when Nike bought Bauer in Canada in the 1990's. The best Canadian Hockey players had that (round Nike) logo in their helmets, the rest had Bauer as that is what was known to be good at the time. The helmets were almost identical. The audience for the shirt aren't two British guys. It's older Canadian men with disposable income and Nike is trying to ride that wave of Canada having better players by making it intobthe last WC, and the next WC
I'm Canadian and I hate the red shirt. The white shirt had 13 stripes for the provinces / territories of Canada - it was at least better. I would have bought a pro model, but Nike never made it - only stadium available to purchase.....Nike could have made more money.
Fellas . . . 2 videos in as many days!!!! What a time to be alive! Adidas loves a wild design here for the MLS . . . this years batch of 3rd kits in the MLS show that, but what are you thoughts on the Atlanta United 3rd kit from last year?
I own one of this wizzards bad boys (Jimmy Connor gave it away on twitter and I was lucky enough to get one, he even send it to Argentina. Such a great guy!). That shirt is awesome, the quality is amazing. I will not wear it to play football, it´s street wear ment for me. Talking about the badge and brand logo they are not stiched those are some sort of heat pressed, I asume it wont bother to play on it. Congrats on another great video.
The upturned swoosh reminds me of a fake shirt, just done very badly. Messing about with the original logo just seems lazy. That Kansas City shirt is gorgeous 🎉🎉
Outside of the Americas, Adidas have been doing an incredible job with kits for quite some time now vs Nike. Certain kits that come to mind which have been special are the black Arsenal away kit of 22/23, the Japan international home kit for the World Cup in 2022 amongst others. Interesting to see what Nike do in the future to compete with Adidas.
I hate the new nike logo ruins the liverpool 3rd kit and the same for this corinthians one makes it look like there was a malfunction in the sweatshop.
it can be quite a lot, it can be a bit of a minefield, as they change a lot and some won't change for anything,... others will if they feel it's in the best interest of the overall look n feel.
@@craigbuglass8434 Thanks Craig. Big fan of the original NASL designs back in the day and it's nice to see the MLS designs going that way. The Galaxy design is cool but the Kansas one on it's own if fine but the whole team lined up might be a bit much - plain white shorts with a detail in the socks might save it.
"It just feels kinda 90s".... Well that makes sense given it's a remake of their 1996 kit.

Another great vid!! Rob’s milan jacket is 🤩
You lot need WAYYYY more views. Absolute legends.
That Galaxy shirt has nothing to do with NASL. It's their first MLS kit.
The LAFC shirt on the other hand is a NASL throwback.
More like a “faux back” than a throwback
A Liverpool 90's throwback with the chunky three stripes going over the shoulder would make me a very happy man.
The Canada Nike logo is inspired by Ice hockey jerseys
Becoming a professional kit designer is literally my dream job 🤞🏻🙏🏻🩵
How do you even start in that job field

Why Rob is talking to Bono from U2?
Exact same thought

adidas are simply dominating kits these past few years both for clubs and countries 🔥 ///
I have New York City away and Vancouver Whitecaps away shirts, both awesome shirts and both Adidas
Would love to see Real Madrid wear an Adidas inspired 80s shirt, those MLS shirts are real bangers xx

Didn’t Sunderland have a similar Nike logo back in the mid 80’s?

Lads I got the Juventus grey GK shirt and the embroidery on the badge (horse logo) was shocking! Worst I have ever seen!

Love Seattle Sounders shirts by Adidas, would love a video covering all MLS shirts for next season in March 25.

Can someone please give some other reasons as to why that black Corinthians kit is great?? It literally looks like a black shirt
Corinthians fans are obsessed with the color black, so a blackout kit is a huge seller
Do Umbro in the Americas!
Since when has São Paulo been in North America?
Hi gents. In kit design, how much does a sponsors logo design influence the final kit aesthetic?

The wrong way round Nike tick is an abomination
