Pretty please can we get some Scottish club kit content? I know Subside probably don’t have access to a lot of the kits but some reviews would be better than nothing.
The new balance Liverpool kit from 2017/18 season is amazing. Same with the 19/20 kit. So new balance actually did an amazing job towards the end. Nike has been very average imo. There are a few nice ones. Such as the away beige with the green collar and the ocean/sea blue away kit. Ultimately I am happy that Liverpool is moving back to Adidas. Just the back catalogue of vintage kits gets me excited. Those candy jerseys and retro trefoil track jackets are beautiful. Always love you two talking about the manufacturing and detailed kit breakdowns! Keep up the great work!
Really enjoyed this thanks guys! Always find your videos really interesting. Im in my40's now but when I was a kid I was constantly designing football kits, had 100's of designs of all different teams and nations redesigned by 10, 11, 12 year old me lol. Maybe i missed my calling. Im a Liverpool fan and im made up Adidas are coming back!! Not really been a huge fan of the Nike kits. Keep up the good work guys 👍
Love these review videos - keep it up gents! Nike seem to have lost their way over the past couple years. Used to make some great kits, both design and quality. I feel Puma lack that edge stylistically wise and everything Adidas touch at the moment is gold. Especially the originals lines they've released for certain clubs.
Absolutely love the detail you go into when discussing these shirts. Thank you! Having been a fan of Liverpool and Nike for (ahem) 30+ years I was so excited that they were finally coming to LFC but I've been disappointed with every home shirt. Feels live they've phoned-in the design every year, not just the 24/25 kit. To be fair, some of the away and third kits have been decent but it's unacceptable for Nike to get the 'Reds' home shirts so badly wrong in terms of aesthetic and build quality. Looking forward to adidas returning but even then, it's with caution. The 06-08 shirt had a collar that just didn't work and the '11-'12 shirt couldn't decide if it was retro or modern and ended up being neither (didn't help that it was worn by the worst Liverpool squad of the modern era!).
My childhood memories as a Red was always with Adidas... im really looking forward to seeing what adidas do with the LFC kit . Im especially looking forward to seeing the retro gear they bring out. Nike have been a massive disappointment tbh. the designers have properly messed up on what should have been 4 years of amazing LFC kits.
Can anyone comment on the badge durability of the newer (in recent years) Adidas authentic jerseys? I've had a couple (Germany home, Real Madrid home) that were bought over the past 8ish year and they have all peeled off, leaving a 'silver background' badge...
Yeah that is the only problem with the Pro kits, they are made for the pro's ie, worn a few times only (once even),... this is why the replica shirt are all embroidered/stitched so that they last. It's supply and demand from the public that want the pro kits no matter what.
Couldn't agree more than what was said. It's unfortunate, that they chose LFC as the example as it is the worst Nike shirt of the year. LFC away and BHA home are great Nike kits this year. LFC going back to Adidas is a license to print money. The term "retro" right now was the best Adidas kits they made - Think Gerrard. Great episode!
Respectfully, the two experts have spoken. But when it comes to footy shirts *Adidas • Umbro • New Balance* will always be the 3 Kings when it comes to the best looking kits for this guy. 👌🏼
I’m devastated that Germany is changing to Nike, just unbelievable when Nike kits have been garbage recently and to have a Germany kit with Nike(an American company) is mind blowing 🤯
Adidas designs are strong year on year for the last few years, but boy oh boy are they bad at printing namesets on shirts. They've gone through 6 Bayern shirts for me, basically destroyed the collar on every single one.
The true football connoisseur knows the 3 stripes are always king in the football world.
Most at their boots are meh…and it’s been like this for a decade

This I a awesome idea. Please do it guys 🙏

Look into it mate, it’s never too late. I’ve purchased these two’s course on shirt design and it’s really insightful. Give it a look
@nwptk6718 thanks for the encouragement I will definitely look into it. Who knows, might be a kit designer yet 😁
@@lizardprincelfc7274 Nothing is stopping you at all, go for it mate!
Your shirts are going to be great next season ❤

@subsidesportsUK send Rob and Craig some Serie A 2024-25 kits to review.
I second this
Maybe alan partridge could onspire the next city shirt...m56! Cotton and guns!

You can clearly see why Adidas are quietly dominating the premier league. Even their training kits are super quality.
And the pre match shirts, new forest one is class
Wicked denim jacket. where to find and buy?

You have to be careful washing/drying them. It’s heat that causes them to come off.

Championship kits? Hummel have done some cool bespoke stuff for teams
Can't wait for Adidas to come back to Liverpool, hoping for some re-releases of the 90s kits
yeah it should be a great time for you all...
Thought Craig would have had a bit for appreciation for a non-template design for LFC shirt.
Can’t wait for adidas with Liverpool. Nike fuck about too much.
JEANS JACKET IS A RAMBLER!
Knows his stuff tho mate!
Hello guys - I sent you an email last month with the final project for one of your courses. Have you received it yet?
Respectfully, the two experts have spoken. But when it comes to footy shirts *Adidas • Umbro • New Balance* will always be the 3 Kings when it comes to the best looking kits for this guy. 👌🏼
what make you say that mate, love to know why you think so?
Nike now are a joke. They've ruined the MLB jerseys; their design work for the NBA jerseys is embarrassing ... now this.
Yep total garbage 🗑️
I’m devastated that Germany is changing to Nike, just unbelievable when Nike kits have been garbage recently and to have a Germany kit with Nike(an American company) is mind blowing 🤯
I always prefer the replica, can't beat an embroidered badge

Thats not good, I hope you got some heavy discount?
