Just want to say - I have never been able to do splits, never done any gymnastics or anything. It has taken me a year to get very, very close...I'm almost there! That may sound defeating but my point is that, if you're someone without a movement background, expect it to take time and work and DON'T GIVE UP! You really have to keep at it!
@@NinaStrojnik Thank you for the quality content. I guess I already enjoy the part about making progress. Still a long way to go. So rather months than weeks. :-)
This one is so good I worked 6 days on it including the side splits , I still can not make it but much flexible than before , it’s helping me do yoga better
Thanks God I found you! I loved this stretch!!! I can feel it in my soul. 🤣♥️ I've been trying many routines, but I had the terrible feeling that I was doing everything wrong... I'm naturally "flexible" (maybe 10 or 15cm over the floor) but I'm going through my 3rd decade and I want to be flexible and fit. So now I want to try your routine because it feels good! You won a subscriber 😍 Thanks for sharing this!
Wow! That is a beautiful pointe in your front leg of your front splits in the thumbnail. I always need to keep mine flexed. Otherwise if I point, my knees have the tendency to bend.
Nice video very well demonstrated I used the more traditional methods in my front split tutorial from my dance training days, anyway you are a real athlete great video
Hi Nina :D! I'd like to thank you first, because there aren't many routines like yours that include mobility and strengthening, they're quite rare. I'm also following other of your videos (and the hips strengthening, THANK YOU ♥! I really NEED it, seriously!) and about that, i don't know if hips may be the cause of my difficulty to the exercise at 4:26, i can't do the movement smoothly and i have to support myself to a wall because if i don't it, i lose the balance, is it normal? Or is a matter orf hip strength ( mine are REALLY weak) or even ankle dorsiflexion? And of course, i have the same difficulties ( A LOT xD!) with the weightening routine for front split. I can do it a bit more easily if i do it lower or if i put a box under my front foot while i do my atg split squat (and in this case i need it for ankle dorsiflexion, but in the end the exercise is the same). In few words, can i do it with a support? With a yoga block or simply a wall? Probably with time it will become easier, but for now i still struggle DX.
Hi, thank you so much, it means a lot. This depends on many things, from strength, flexibility and balance, you definitely need a good ankle stability as well. Yes of couse you can do it with a support, you need to adjust exercises to your body, so rather hold for a wall and focus and the exercise also if you add some weights OR you can put front foot higher. I would actually do both ways so you can work on this exercise a bit differently ☺️
@@NinaStrojnikYou know, while i was doing 1 hour ago your video of front split, i noticed (lol, sorry for the pun 🤣) a notification on youtube and saw your comment...ahhhh telepathy/synchronicity 🤣! Thank you so much for your answer 🥰; i must say that's a relief for me, when i watch you doing these lunges so easily they seem so easy but they're not, i wanted to do them like you but they're impossible for me, i really do an effort that you can't imagine, i sweat like a pig in the end 🤣. Ohhh higher? That's a good news for me, so i can even do them with weights, but at least it won't be impossible like before, thank you so much , you gave me an additional hope 😂😃. P.s. : come back to youtube, we miss you🤗.
Hi, you can do this exercises even if you are a beginner. You don't need to go that low, do you best. If you feel pain you are pushing yourself too much, it's up to you how deep you will go.

Just the best Front Split Routine i found so far. I don’t enjoy it, since it’s stretching. But definitely worth the time ;-)
That's great! Thanks you ☺️ you will start enjoying it 😉

Hey Nina,
Can I do these stretches every day, or should I have a break?
At the beginning, definitely take a break in between
should my knees hurt a bit when getting into splits position?
I get stuck on my back knee when I try and go down- how do I stop this
Will man be more difficult to achieve split?
Not really, depends on your body. But if you are into fitness and building muscle you might be tighter so it will take you longer.
Hi coach this workout not foe beginners 😅 you can do front spilt in this vedio we cant open like this i have so pain 💔
