- This is a recording of the original lyrics to the song Alexander Hamilton from the hit Broadway musical Hamilton by Lin-Manuel Miranda. I do not own this, all rights are reserved to Lin (he's sort of a genius). I'll be posting one of these a day so come back if you want to see the rest of the songs. And I promise some of the other ones are much more different from the final version than this one.

I counted a few things different:
1. Lafayette said "our Hamilton" instead of "he struggled"
2. Eliza said "full of shit" instead of "full of it"
3. The guy who sang for Washington isn't the one who did it for the cd version
4. After "America forgot him." It should be the part where it's like "we fought with him. Me? etc." and in this one they went straight to burr and then said Alexander Hamilton right after
Also isn't it scammin for not scannin
And Eliza messed up and said Mullox instead of Alex becuase she confused Mother and Alex at first
also there is no "wait" on the cd version at 3:49

It never was Jefferson... or Lafayette... there was a double meaning with him and Mulligan/Maddison saying they fought with him. Either they fought WITH him as in an alliance, or they fought with him as in actually fighting.
Also Phillip. Why do we forget Phillip and Laurens? Laurens dies for Hamilton at Yorktown in South Carolina. (Side note, We'll never be free thing could have been dying words) Phillip died defending his father's name to George Eaker.

Yeah, Laurens never died for Hamilton in particular. I was confused by it but lived with it as a close enough thing

You marked Daveed Diggs and Okieriete Onaodowan as Lafayette and Mulligan but really they're playing Jefferson and Madison respectively in the opening.

Sure, you can interpret it that way but the musical's book identifies them as such.
Mahmoud Mahmoud Lin also has confirmed the double meaning. They might be Jefferson and Madison, but there is purposeful ambiguity.

ObsidianWolf Peggy/Maria is the one where it's pretty much just one of the two, though there could technically be an argument for her loving him as her brother-in-law. Laurens/Philip, Lafayette/Jefferson, and Mulligan/Madison are the more intentional ambiguous ones.

They skipped a lot at the end:

[LAFAYETTE/JEFFERSON] and [MULLIGAN/MADISON] is how I think the lyrics are officially written on their parts. (They also have [PEGGY/MARIA])
