Mannnn, you're giving away all the secrets 😭 thank you! I've been doing something similar with my kids, repping out that cross step and the boys are stopping on dimes now.
This is really helpful your channel is overall if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have known I had Patellar tendonitis and I would’ve stopped played for a few days, and not to keep playing
I love all your stuff. I would instead recommend single leg backwards diagonal hops on hills (slight incline)... body adapts faster, cheaper (free), and dummy proof...
Hey Paul, I'd love to hear you talk more about the science behind that explosive breathing out of air that feels natural to do when you want to explode quickly - why does it help?
@Emil Wibergh also, strength doesn't necessarily = size. A lot of people with less mass are a lot stronger than they look. Leverages also very important
@@andrewnunnes yes, that's good but LP inflates your strength numbers because it's a machine and takes away stabilisation. See what you can do on single-leg and conventional squats (and deadlifts) for a true meaningful idea of athleticism, and train those as you need stabilisation strength
Hey Paul! I want to suggest you to make the video about reversing effects of sitting. This would really help me as both an athlete and a student and I think that will be interesting for others as well.
You can use massage ball for small areas, foam roller for big area like quads. Massage gun is for lazy people. Not saying it is useless. It is just not necessary.
If it is a skill, lets say you're a basketball player, why not do like a tim hardaway cross with a cross drag step that you showed AI doing with a medicine ball? Or is this exercise essentially a way to do this for all sports and not just basketball.
Please be super carefull with decelerate+COD on the inside leg. Your are in high risk for an ACL tear if the movement isn't natural for you. Yes COD and decelerating is a skill. A very important skill. Even nore important than straight speed for teamsports.
3:13 ah yes, I remember this one well😂, The most polite break in I’ve ever heard of😂😂😂
I know Paul hit ‘em good when they broke in 😂
3:13 only real squids know 😂

This isn’t gonna happen. Paul is too science based to believe in Ben’s system and they are competitors
@@nicholasneuhoff a lot of what Ben says is science based
So the proper progression that you’re talking about is doing that without load?

Please make a video about how to load your knees if you have knee pain and to make your knees feel better.
Look at @kneesovertoesguy
What’s more important to you? Strength or Plyometrics for training fast twitch muscles.
Oh definitely plyometrics 100%%
@Emil Wibergh also, strength doesn't necessarily = size. A lot of people with less mass are a lot stronger than they look. Leverages also very important
@@DondiWhiteRIP I did 2 sets of 13 reps of 470lbs on leg press at 138 bw is that good or common

what program do you have that builds up or progress this deceleration concept?
I'm interested in this concept for taekwondo. I want to create angles to target and not just fight on a single line.
Boom!
Hey Paul! I want to suggest you to make the video about reversing effects of sitting. This would really help me as both an athlete and a student and I think that will be interesting for others as well.
It should be named fly ball or flow ball or swing ball something like that
I wanna hear about the home intruder story!
Is this part of what the durability code is about?
I’m taking your vert program
would this be for a pretty sports specific phase? like apply this to your multi directional phase or your force absorption phase?
Please training footwork James Harden and handling or finishing Kyrie Irving
