Never thought of that but youre 100% correct, I mean his sword is basically an even more strict version Thors hammer. Like who would else can manage the literal moral purity and diligence of Jack? He was being a good guy and kicking ass saving people, but getting frustrated and angry made him lose the sword... after doing endless battles for literal years....
One of the few fictional characters with 100% moral integrity, honour and dignity. Even at his lowest he still dedicated his life to help others. I’d argue he’s more worthy than Thor himself
Aight we got the “who can solve the Kira case” for intelligence and now we got “who can lift Thor’s hammer/use Jack’s sword” for morality/integrity and badassery. There’s also “Who can use a green lantern ring” for willpower but I’m pretty sure the hammer and sword test works for that too. There’s “who can use the infinity stones without dying” but thats a lot of characters with hulk level strength. What other fictional tests are there?
I can see why people love Samurai Jack, his sense of honor and his tragic backstory along with how no matter how dark it gets, he always let's back on his feet
I really love Samurai Jack and everything about him. I think he perfectly represents dedication to your missions and purposes. And 50 years of suffering and helping people without giving into insanity or becoming evil makes him a perfect example of nobility in warriors and a strong mindset a soldier irl should have. He will always be my favorite fictional warrior.
From 13:34-14:26, I love the dynamic between Jack and Aku, it’s so funny seeing Jack outsmart Aku then having Aku think he’s outsmarted jack only to have Jack outsmart Aku again, I’m convinced this show is also a comedy. Aku’s face when Jack outsmarted him for the second time had me dying, it was just too perfect
Well yeah, it was on CN, so Im sure the company wanted Gennedy to put some light humor in this show, instead of being full on dark. I believe it worked out, seeing Jack actually meet good people in his trips and not having to think life or death every episode is always good to see. Like the episode when Jack tries on shoes was funny, and the episode where he helps those ape men was good too.

Even so, like Jack, we should stand back up and continue to walk and not let the corruption in the real world get to us, no matter how many times you fall.. get back up, and fight. Because as soon as you give up, every hardship in life will come down on you harder than ever, and giving up will let It win.
