Ford Motor is only major automaker designing new efficient & powerful V8s .Facts. Everyone is doin electrics. Govt has mandated that. No getting around it. That's why there's 2 newer Fords in my driveway 💯
I really hope the 2024 mid engine version floating around of the next Shelby GT500 is the correct platform as corvette is showing us what can be done with less horsepower and sub $100,000 price point performance can do in a mid engine platform. Ford can build a mid engine car, they got the GT, just need to find a way to build it under $100,000 now.
Pass on mid-engine for Mustang. Mustang should always have the long hood, short deck proportions. Keep it as front engine RWD. Add a couple hundred HP worth of electric motors to the front wheels for hybrid AWD.
@@BC08 the corvette heritage goes back way further with the long hood short rear end than any mustang yet they are killing it with the new mid engine design. It will be no different with the mustang. Mustang owners are a much younger crowd and will welcome the technology, I mean look at the debacle of the new 2024 mess of a car and some people think it’s a upgrade with iPads tossed ontop the dash and not built into it in place of good old fashion race car type gauges lol.
