I love this anime, its a shame it isn’t as scary as the book, but it makes me happy to see that what started out small has gathered such a large fan base.
It's not the translation that makes a good English cover to anime songs, but the elegance with which the lyrics are adapted to preserve the original sound of singing while the translation remains accurate (at least in regards to the message of the lyrics). Great job LittleJayneyCakes.

Well, it *is* the same instrumental version from the original song, though. The English lyrics and vocals are pretty obviously simply added in. That being said, this is how you translate poetry/song lyrics. You *keep* the rhymes, rhythm and overall meaning of the original. In short, you really have to " re-poem" it. And this one seriously nails it.
I've only watched a few scenes of this anime, but I'm just gonna say 2 things: 1) OH MY GOD THIS ANIME IS REALLY BLOODY 2) While watching those scenes, it gave me a really bad Final Destination vibe, because bad luck happens to get them killed

I remember watching Another and I loved it. The psychological effect it has is amazing, added on to the horror and gore aspect it is honestly one of my top 5 favorites. Also your voice is lovely, I love your songs!

Wow, Just cross matched it with the original opening...she pretty much nailed it. just tie it all together and generalize this cover with the original song and it's pretty much spot on. Great cover!
Well, it *is* the same instrumental version from the original song, though. The English lyrics and vocals are pretty obviously simply added in.
That being said, this is how you translate poetry/song lyrics. You *keep* the rhymes, rhythm and overall meaning of the original. In short, you really have to " re-poem" it. And this one seriously nails it.
I've only watched a few scenes of this anime, but I'm just gonna say 2 things:
1) OH MY GOD THIS ANIME IS REALLY BLOODY
2) While watching those scenes, it gave me a really bad Final Destination vibe, because bad luck happens to get them killed
