God I remember just jamming out to the original shorter cover back in maybe 2016, not even knowing the anime, just this op sounded amazing, and the covers you both did were great as well, as is this one of course.

Thank goodness this redux fixed the one issue I had with the original cover, YOU CAN HEAR NATE NOW as backing vocals, Amalee was mixed way to strongly and over shadowed most of the backing vocals.
Not to mention the typo.
The only thing I don't really like is how the German numbers are enunciated better and it sounds weird, I also preferred the "somewhere deep down" of the original cover. Other than that, it's a great cover, and I had the same problem with the original.
I feel that the instrumentals are infinitely worse than before though.

Okay, future diary was the first real adult anime I ever freaking watched and when I did watch it I was probably a bit too young but whatever. Wither way this opening is so absolutely amazing and it will always hold a special place in my heart, thank you Nate and Amalee for covering such an incredible song!

I loved dragon ball Z first thanks to the games because anime and such wasn't accesible or talked about in Belgium at all. Once I discovered what anime was Mirai Nikki was also one of my first anime though I don't recall exactly considering I was binging a shit load of things as soon as I found out there was an entire medium for things similar and often better than DBZ
@@sumrandopeep I have a similar experience. A friend came over one and brought a VHS (Remember those?) of the ghost themed episodes of Pokemon Season 1.
So my first exposure to Pokemon was all of the child friendly scary episodes. Needless to say this DID NOT HELP later on when I needed to convince my parents the people in church saying Pokemon was a tool of Satan were full of shit.
Thankfully my mother listened to me. But really it wasn't easy when their only reference to Pokemon was litterally a bunch of ghost and supernatural themed episodes :P
