I do that too! Hope you were able to sate the craving! Sushi rolls get easier with practice but it all ends up the same in your stomach so I usually make sushi bowls when I'm feeling lazy.
I learned to make California rolls with your first video and I've been following ever since! So delicious and so fun to make:) can't wait to try these new tricks!
That sounds delicious! Sometimes I put Atsuage in mine. It's the fried tofu Marc makes here: ua-cam.com/video/qCBlN6UHKfI/v-deo.html It adds texture, flavor, and protein, and you can even add liquid flavorings to it because it soaks up liquids like a sponge. This recipe is great for letting your imagination go wild, too. You could do hot sauce, adobo, curry, the variations are endless. Now that you know the technique, I hope you'll be making them frequently!😊
Wow, lots of useful tips here! I can't wait to try making these. The moment with the bruised avocado is so relatable!🥑 When some jerk bruises your avocado, just cut the bad part out and move on. Sage advice.😌
Happy New Year 🎉 Marc I hope you and your family are doing great! I haven't been able to text you lately but I have been watching your videos I really do in joy your videos well Marc I've got to go as always your friend in southern Nevada Nicholas 🎉
Thanks Nicholas! Happy New Year to you and your family! I hope you have a healthy and fulfilling 2024! I haven't been posting videos as regularly either so I totally understand. Be well my friend!
I've never had sushi with FRESH wasabi, man. Geeeeez, I never ever thought of doing that, tbh. And to pair it with a Cali roll? I can't believe I never did that before...just for the, "middle finger," aspect to tradition, if nothing else. lol "I like sushi, but I don't like the rice part," is something I have had said to me. (Facepalm)
😆 yea I think a lot of people mix up sashimi and sushi. Our local super has fresh wasabi at an affordable price sometimes so I usually buy it, grate it all, and freeze it in single servings for times like this.
Awesome--always wanted to try making sushi! Going to try this with some firm tofu instead of the crab as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the heavy metal, PCBs and DDT in fish. Thanks so much for sharing

Oh right, parchment paper. 😅
