heat was applied to pop the bubbles and straighten the surface. Glow powder just absorbs light from any source of light. And the epoxy is cured by mixing it with its hardener. There are some uv epoxies that can be cured faster with uv light treatment.
I haven't noticed a difference between the clear and the tinted when I use the glow powder. I do use a lot of glow powder in my mix though.. Thanks for watching.
That stuff is like gold, too damn expensive to make anything you're not 100% sure of. The settling factor alone makes it a bad value compared to colors and inks. Wish that would change.
Now i want a glow in the dark countertop
Okay, now I want to add glow to all the things. 💯
It’s fun.

@@KnottyArtisan Love them!
Is your suggestion to add a bit of white to the epoxy to see the glow? I did some over a black base and can't see the glowing at all
@mountdoomee no. I added flow pigment to the white, and it glows
Would this work with a black tint?
I don't know i'll give
it a try and get back to you. My gut says yes.
Thank you! I'm really interested in finding out for a desk project. I've tried to research it but can't find anything.
Do you heat it up to wake the glow or is the epoxy supposed to be heated for it to cure?
