Thanks for the info on the new carb! As a do-it-yourselfer these how-to video's are great! Where did you get the Co. off-road sticker? I've heard Wal-Mart has them, going to the parks dept. is no longer fun. Thanks!
I noticed on the side of the cylinder it says 248cc. GPX must have changed it, because I thought it was around 230cc. But clearly the one you have is not 230cc
Good eye because I never noticed that, that would beg to then ask is it a lie by Chinese company to claim that it's bigger then it is or is it bigger then we were told. I would think the importer who is standup and says 230cc is spot on and it's just a Chinese cylinder claiming false information.
Do yourself a favor....look up "WR200 OKO carb" and buy a "D" slide type carb that is set-up and jetted for the much more powerful WR200 Yamaha that is a "Hot Rod" version of this DT230 motor....Cheap and nice working carb! OKO is made in Korea...Distributed in the USA by Mid-Atlantic Trials company...I'm in no way associted with them....Just was very happy with mine on my 92WR200 Yamaha! And the WR is in far higher tune than the DT230.....Wish there had been better research....36 is TOO BIG for decent part throttle performance....Maybe the "Smart Carb' is less sensitive....but....36mm venturii is a BIG size for a trail bike!

My thoughts Exactly with the Carb size. WR200, NICE!
What rod and clicks settings on the SC2 carb did you end up on?
Good question but I sold the bike it was whatever SmartCarb sent to me
How did the bike run after the new carb?
I'm a huge fan of SmartCarb, I think it ran really well.
Where did you buy this bike?
I bought it direct from GPX. www.gpxmoto.com
Does that 21.5 really have oil injection like the website says?
No the 2021.5 does not have oil injection, that was the previous year
