Great Job! I heard from some folks these bikes have not much low bottom end. Is this true? If so, what can be done to improve it for Hard Enduro?

Yeah bottom end is not as strong as a regular enduro machine of similar capacity. Good carburation is key and there are mods like flywheel advance key, higher compression head , powervalve mods, big bore kits and cdi upgrades. The bikes likes it in the mid to higher rpms for sure but with that you get many many hours of use between piston changes and it’s bloody reliable.
If you want the powerful bottom end go for something else. This bike has proved itself over and over again 240hrs there abouts at the moment.

@@RobboRobinson Thanks for the quick reply - highly appreciated! I will get first a 250 to work with it, and later an a 300 could be the way to go! Ride safe, Bro!

Hello robbo, how are you doing? I am a new guy to dirt biking and little short on cash so I need to do alot of DIY if anything goes wrong. Would you recommend this bike in terms of reliability versus getting a 20 something year old YZ or CR? How easy and necessary are the aftermarket parts like shocks, internals, chains to make this thing last? are the factory parts cheap quality? can I get them from gpx? thanks again robbo

Hi there, the bikes solid and parts are easily available here in the UK both online or through GPX UK. Performance is not like a CR or YZ as it’s detuned for longevity. If you want power the 300 2T is probably the better option. If your just a trail rider this bike does it all . Parts are a lot cheaper than most. Besides you would only need general service items if you went for a new bike and kept it clean. Go look at one and do your homework. Messing with a old beat up YZ or CR can be a pain in the ass.
