This bike (and it's cousin, the Kayo KT250) remind me of the old Kawasaki KDX220. It handles better, feels much more modern (as it should), but I think it performs the same function as that machine. Just like the KDX, these are fantastic trail bikes for guys who love 2 strokes.
Try the egl300 That thing is so fast for a 300 and its not as expensive as a honda But they use the same frame, plastics and they have extra accessories like 4 directional bendable levers and a double exhaust They look sick and sound sick
Seems better than I expected. That thing seriously does fire up like nothing. You hit the switch and it was literally running. I didnt even hear the motor or the starter. Also the hot starts were good. I BARLEY heard the starter for a split second. I'm curious if they all are like that, or if that's just the unicorn that came out of the factory?
GPX ..Nicely equipped China bikes, that are fun ride and have decent suspension. *BUT* Mine didn't handle more than a few months of New England trail riding before it started going to crap. I had a blown shock and bad ECU when it came out of the crate.... After those were taken care of, it did alright for a few months then the multiple issues started.... I was down for 3 months working out too many issues to list.... Before its said, I'm over 50, don't compete anymore and keep up with ALL bike maintenance. I realize I had a bad one, but these bikes are half the cost of a KTM for a reason, they have a decent engine and frame, wrapped in cheap Chinese copied junk... Pay now or pay more later... GPX is defiantly on the "pay more later" side...
Most of the items on the GPX bike are the same quality as the other non Chinese bikes. They are the same brands the only thing that isnt is the plastics, engine and some small trinkits.
@@Micscience NO they are not... GPX's cost many, many thousands of dollars less than "non-Chinese" bikes because they are build at a much lower standard. Its simple math, don't delude yourself.
Egl 300 is not like that I have one and its just like a honda Well its a honda basically but with fancy levers and a key start and headlight But the kick stand is shitty
Considering Kawi and Honda don't make offroad 300s...yes, GPX and SSR are 100% low priced Chinese bikes. They are literally half the price of a KTM 300 offroad machine.
@@Joeak74 not really, its a super low compression motor. shave 30 thousands off the head and jump the timing 3 degrees. also a mikuni carb. it will rip after that.

Move the speed sensor to the top bolt and make sure it's close to the magnet. Mine works great once I moved it and it's out of harms way now.
I did that exact thing shortly after this video.
Mine came with three sets of jets. After trying all three, I dialed in the carb, and it's a beast now!

Thanks for the video and review . I’m now convinced this bike is the way to go for leasure riding .
Good choice!
Suspension function?
That sounds good!!
It doesn’t come with a horn stock, it’s wired for one but no actual horn.
I realized this shortly after this video. Haha
What sporckat have front and back ?
You can shorten the steering stops on the 19 quite a bit
I would like to know if this bike is faster than a cr125 2 stroke? I'm just trying to gauge the performance before I purchase one.
Yes.
How much

Ding ding ding. We have a winner. Correct answer
@@jamesmarchant5837 .. but I leaned the correct answer the hard way 😶
Does AOMC sell GPX now?
We have ordered a few batches of them from time to time. We don't have any at the moment though.
Needs jetting! Great bike though :-)
GPX and SSR are not low-priced Chinese bikes. The 2022 FSE 300r is more expensive than the Kawi and Honda 300's.

@@mxgryan What about the KLX 300 and CRF 300. How does GPX's 300 stack up? It's a copy of a KTM perhaps, but it's competition is Kawi & Honda.
Same China stuff as KTM and husky 😎they have the exact same front wheel bearings .
does anyone know where to buy this 2 stroke gpx?? I can find a dealer on their website that does anymore
I don't know of any of these available anywhere right now.
Bottom end very slow and sluggish.
Well, it's a very dated engine design to be fair.
Carb needs properly jetted. That's all.

@@SketchyAtBest little proper tuning as u stated and it she should rip!! You know your shit I️ see
