Your animation just keeps getting better, no joke! It always seems crisper and more realistic with every new upload. You could really consider a job as a VFX artist. Then again I don’t mean to assume your occupation and you can do whatever you like. Although I must say, your animation skills are pretty damn impressive.
I've always wondered where most of the conventional weaponry went after the 7 Hour War.
Theorising aside, I love this animation! Good work.
Yeah, I’m super happy that he didn’t just use shitty smgs, and actually included a lot of weaponry, i feel like if half life was worked on harder and longer cough cough half life 3 we could get some ak-47s and stuff
Considering the combine has controlled Earth for 20 years now, that's more than enough time to, seize and/or destroy all of pre-war human weapons arsenal
my theory is that they dismantled and/or assimilated all the weaponry companies in the world, including Kalashnikov Group and HK (reason why both the standard pistol and the standard smg are the usp and mp7, both made by HK)
So, by the time of the uprising there would be no more weapons of human origin left other than the usp, the shotgun and the mp7 wich are used by the overwatch and civil protection, which could even have Combine modifications like the integrated grenade launcher of the mp7, but in the first post-war years there could be many more weapons of human origin scattered around the world, military grade more than anything
(also Alyx might have the latest m1911 pistol in the world, and it's heavily modified with combine tech so it doesn't even count as a human weapon anymore)
@@alternax9751well i think the combine wanted to use only the USP and the H&K MP7 for a conventional service weapon, and they didnt want so many guns getting around to enemies so they destroyed most of them, leaving just those two firearms left, untill the rebels started stealing them

Amazing SFM. You showed how the rebels were fighting with their lives to retake the Earth from the combines. That was dark and sad. Honestly, it did not felt as a Half-Life story for me but something else yet it is still a good video.
