Thank you for your review. I'm planning to buy this from Hansshow next. I have a question regarding the navigation on the screen you mentioned. When you hold to the left or right on the right scroll wheel, does it sometimes affect adjusting your following distance from the car in front of you?
I don’t know. I have FSD and the following distance was removed by Tesla with FSD. However, some of the functions with the scroll wheels on the screen don’t work when you have Autopilot is engaged. I suspect the follow distance will work.

I just saw your video on your screen that you added. That is the exact same screen that I added to my model Y performance. It’s actually the one that works great with a yoke. One thing about Apple CarPlay. I absolutely love is the ability to use Weather apps for the road. I took a road trip with the screen to LA and used a weather app when the hurricane hit Los Angeles. I was able to avoid big squalls on my drive back to Texas. There are two apps that are absolutely fabulous to where it tracks where you are With the weather radar. I know you got rid of your yoke but that leads me to another question. If they were to come out with a steering wheel like a cyber truck, would you consider going to that instead? Sorry you had to grind that off. I have a model Y performance 2022. I did not have to do that.
Thanks! What weather apps do you use and are they free? As for the Cybertruck wheel, I guess I’ll need to figure that out. Not sure there are any advantages to the round. Might try it.
@@iowatesla Neither one I use are free. I used Weather OntheWay on that trip as it was the best at the time. It worked great. Since then an app that I already had added Carrplay. That app is MyRadar Weather Radar Pro. I am currently using that one. Just as a weather app it has a ton of features. It works on all devices. It is a paid one for all the features. There may be others that also do Carplay, but it has been a while since I was searching.
@@iowatesla Oops, I thought I replied, but it looks like I didn't. I have 2 apps that worked great . The one I used on my road trip to LA was Weather OntheWay. It worked great. Since then one of my regular weather apps added Carplay to it, That app is Weather MyRadar Weather Pro.. I use it more since the app itself has tons of features. Sorry to say both are pay apps, but well worth it if you love to check on your weather while on the road. I hope this isn't a copy of what might be posted previously. Love your channel.
This thing looks huge. Which screens are you using in your two cars now?
FYI, I have 2021 model Y with intel processor, but my model Y still comes with the plug on the passenger side, so I can use the same connection as AMD processor car. If you haven't looked in your car, I recommend you looking next time to see whether your intel car comes with that blue plug on passenger door as well.
If you were to remove the screen, does it cause permanent damage to the mounting of your dash or if you remove it, does it appear that you never had the screen there to begin with?
Having a dashbord makes sense. Apps - those should be on the infotainment screen. (I don't own a Tesla but I imagine i'd want plugshare, abrp, maybe waze and some other apps that are not working on Tesla screen). It's good that there are 3rd party options for quite a few things really.
Can this be used on a Highland model 3, Can you do an installation video for this.
I wish the front camera had sensor or lines guidance...
I had an awful time installing this in my older 2020 Model 3. In addition to using a dremel to trim to touchscreen air vent, I also had to shave the 3 cable plugs attached to the screen because they were too thick for the vent holes in the Tesla dash trim.
I also ended up not installing the front camera. I removed the frunk tub and did not see an opening at the bottom to fish a cable wire through to the front bumper. The entire bottom was covered in hard plastic. I guess I could drill an opening in the plastic. But since I have ultrasonic sensors, I don't really need the camera.

You have a yoke. I wonder how it looks thru a normal steering wheel?
I don’t have a yoke anymore. Eye line is only obstructed a small amount.

While you guys have your money invested into Tesla, a company that has not made investors money for 3 years, I have sold my tesla and am now making Piles of money on BITCOIN...I still believe TSLA is a good long term investment, but not right now..
