Hey Denmonkey, A Big thank you for all your effort that you put into your videos on the Pajero. Its a huge help to me, and others. I'm sure its much appreciated by owners. I'm a regular viewer and a subscriber of your good work. For me it repays with massive time saving and assured results. That sounds odd. Not heard that one before. Have you tried swapping them back out for the originals to confirm it's related to the new ones. Do you have a obd reader to check for codes. fyi , that's the exact same model as mine .

Hey Brett thanks for this great tip! I have a NW and you mentioned at about 6:26 to be careful of using in reflector globes I didn't really get the problem you are alluding to can you elaborate a bot more for me? thanks mate John
ah yeah no Worries , the projects headlights have lense in front of them to focus the light from the globe. so even if the globe is putting out an imperfect pattern ,the lens can go a long way to stopping that light being sent out at weird angles which is what you see when some sticks these into a reflector type headlight. there's no focusing lense in front, just a mirror like reflector behind the globe to push the light forward. The problem here is, if the globe pattern isn't the same as the original globe, it will indiscriminately blast that bright light in all directions. This is what you usually are seeing when you spot a car coming the other way with bright white lights that near blind you. They've stuck led globes in headlights that just weren't meant to handle them or can't be adapted to control that extra light.

Gday mate, I have just stumbled onto your channel whilst looking for a headlight upgrade on my Pajero. Now I have found myself binge-watching your content. Lots of potential things I can do to mine. A couple of questions for you mate. How have these bulbs lasted for you? This video is a few years old now so I am curious about the longevity. Also, did you do anything with the high beams as well? On a side note, I saw on your giveaway video and your comment about reaching out to a company for a little help for a product on your video. I have a media kit that I use and would be happy to send you a copy of it if you like. I get good take up from businesses that I contact with it to get products to use on my channel. You can adapt it for yourself. you may already have that sort of thing sorted, but if not, hit me up mate. Happy to help out another Aussie YT creator.
Hey Shane, yes mate so using the original leds in the low beam. One started to flicker, so I bought a new set (which were in the give away) because they suggested themselves. I think it may have been some dust in them . But they're good again now. I have the auxbeams in the high but rate the nighteye cheapies better. Definitely interested in your comms doc . I don't tend to approach companies and just look at what they send me. I do need to be more proactive in that area though. So I'm all ears if you have pointers. Let me know if you don't already have my email addy and I'll get it to you. Well suss your channel too. Cheers
I also have a question: There is an expensive kit from Superior Vision :"The Royalty LED Package is a complete upgrade for your vehicle, it includes: - 2x LED High Beam Bulbs - 2x LED Low Beam Bulbs - 2x LED Fog Lights Bulbs - 2x LED Parker Bulbs - 2x LED License Plate Bulbs - 2x LED Reverse Bulbs" Is there a complete kit also for this night eye? I can find them only on ebay, not on their proper site
I dont think so mate, no. I've only seen the bulbs. You can try these guys, they do a pajero set www.ko-gear.com.au/vehicle-specific/mitsubishi/pajero/
Thanks for the great video. I’m a big fan. Just to confirm, So the same night eye lights which is H11 may be used for either hi or low beam? How come hi beam is brighter then? Excuse my ignorance :)
Hi Pierre, thanks for the compliment mate. H11 and H9 a basically the same type(shape) of connection but H9 has a small piece of plastic in it. To stop you puting the brighter ones in the low beam. Now normally your high beam globes H9 are higher wattage . so what some people have done in the past is buy the H9 and cut the little plastic tabs out to make them fit into their low beam to make them brighter. These LED gloes are H11 so fit in either without modification. Whilst they are H11 and designed to be used in low beam because they put out a cleaner and 'brighter' light, they also work well in the high beam side. The lens in the high beam is also different to the low beam so the pattern or spread is altered thus the globe can be used in either or . hope that helps mate.
@@DENMONKEY thanks so much. I actually installed it last night in my high beams and all good. Happy with it although I was hoping for it to be brighter at a longer distance. I think maybe it is because the led is positioned at an angle... I dunno :) By the way, interesting that it didn’t work the first time I installed it, but worked when I rotated the electrical plug and socket around. Thanks by the way, I love ur videos.
so long as the light out front isn't getting the oncoming traffic I wouldn't be concerned. There's no real option to rotate them anyway if I recall. but it didn't look to do it, so i could be wrong. but it's an easy spend of 30 bucks for so much improvement
Hi i've used these on my motorcycle and love them, so I bought a set for my Pajero NT 2011 and have had to use them on my high beam ( very bright ). It seems my low beam are xenon globes with what looks like a ballast plugged straight in the back, then all locked up with a plastic cover. This looks like a stock headlight are these actually standard or not? I'm having trouble finding out and would like to have a set for my low beam but the plugs on these xenon lights are totally different. Cheers.
Hey Arron, what spec is your NT ? I believe the vrx models or maybe others use different globes (HID maybe) . I'm not certain but I think I read it somewhere. but it's been a while and I can't recall to point you in that direction. Not having ran into that issue mate, I'm sorry I can't offer any advice.
@@DENMONKEY It's a GLX 30th anniversary model. Had a hunt around and the last thing on the list of extras was xenon headlights. ☹️ Looks like I'm going to be stuck with dim low beams.
Hi Brett, thanks for the Video. I was about to go with Stedi's until i saw one of your comments on the paj FB page. Can you confirm the wattage of the globes in this video? The link no longer works and the only ones i can find @ 9000lm are 72w, OEM halogens are 55w. Will this cause an issue?
Ive update the link on the video to this one ebay.us/Zhyhuu . they state 72W from the original link . I've been running them now for 3 years with no issue and no of plenty of others who went with them too and haven't had any negative feedback . That's the only advice I can give really.
Hey IB, mate, theyre still going as good as the day I stuck them in. No issues at all. I've got some auxbeam ones on the way to test. will get a video done once they turn up
Got a new set on the way from auxbeam. Not sure if they're any good yet. Will do a video. I did replace the t10s with some cheap ebay ones a mate gave me. They fell apart. Thanks for reminding me to swap them out
Hey mate just upgraded with these globes, was surprised to get a second set but different brand delivered as well but unsure whether to trust them. ESSGOO h11 energy saving globes... have you heard of them?
Ive just fitted these in my Honda CRV that has projector upgrade, electronic levelling, via 3 position switch, and headlamp washers. All works great but does anyone know if these will pass an MOT test in the UK.?
@@DENMONKEY Yep the mod I've seen where you cut the little plastic and metal tab to make the H9 fit.. higher wattage vs the H11. I'm feeling the need to upgrade my NX bulbs so wondering what's best !
With my old delica, I tried heaps of different halogen options and none have me the results I wanted. That was a reflector head lamp though, I tried led and the results were good but no good for oncoming traffic. I know it's not the exact vehicle but these eBay ones for about 30 bucks are just another level. These ones had a heap of good reviews, which is why I went with them. I was sent a set of auxbeam for review but the ebay ones out performed them. I do have new ones coming from a local seller which I will be testing soon enough. If they're better than these I'll be very impressed. Sorry for babbling but that's how happy I've been with them. To answer your question, hands down led. If you don't go with these ones, just be sure to read some reviews, it can be a mixed bag. Let me know how you go. If and also doing the modded halogen can produce more heat inside your headlight. I've not heard of any I'll effects but it's worth mentioning.
for the same price mate, yeah worth the effort. otherwise when you hit the highs you can really notice the colour difference. they dont make as much difference as in the lows in my opinion but still worth the spend I reckon. I like lots of light though, so I went with the lot but you'll see good improvement from just the globes. for about 60 bucks and 15 minutes to swap them all over, it's an easy choice to make.
Now that you have had the Nighteye globes for a while do you still recommend them? Have you still got these installed can you still recommend them. Did you install ones for the high beam as well as the low beam?
shit yes. One of them started to flicker the other week but I think it may have gotten some dirt or rubbish into the heat sink. It hasn't done it again though, so not sure really. When I thought it was on it's way out, I straight away went and ordered another set of the same since i was so happy with them. They're sitting here ready to go. I was sent a set from auxbeam to review but was not happy with them compared to these. I told them about the performance and they were still happy to me to do an honest review. I chose not to as I only like to show stuff that I think is good or that has worked for me. That said I stuck the auxbeams into my high beams and they work well enough, just not as bright as these cheap ones
not sure mate, but i think the ones i took out may still be in the shed. If I can find them I'll have a look for ya. i think you need to go in from the back if i remember there was about 4 screws holding them into the bumper
No worries Marc, I've got a couple more different brand LED headlights reviews coming up. They're going to have to do well to beat these for performance for price though. I'm very happy with these .
@@DENMONKEY cheers for that mate. Been thinking about chucking some in, just heard mixed reports on led in projector lights. Might just have to give them a whirl
@@Two-Dads I obviously can't guarantee you anything but I couldn't be happier with them, I'm also yet to be flashed from oncoming traffic. It's not recommend them in a low beam reflector though but I haven't tested them in that scenario either
I have tried similar LEDs in foggy and snow condition and I think the reflection is not very comfortable for me. I end up with 4300K HID conversion with ballasts, which works well with my pajero Gen4.
Hey Tim, not yet mate. be a little while before I get around to it. I've been spending my spare bucks on the caravan at the moment. so unless I win the lotto, it has to wait :(
Probably not. There s no info on the box. That said, this didn't change the beam pattern and is not impacting in other drivers, so I think the chances of it being picked up non factory is unlikely.
So these are literally plug and play, no conversions etc need...??? Just unplug your old light from the connection and plug this straight in and twist bulb in correct....??? Also my brother upgraded his(not sure what brand) but his a super bright, I've had him following me in convoy and made him go ahead of me because the brightness was so bright even from the rear it was giving me a headache...also noticed every single car that went past him was flashing him with their high beams as they are just stupidly bright, could cause someone to crash into him one night. Can anyone or denmonkey answer these questions. Cheers.
Hi Wilma, yes plug and play . Now, the other bit. It really depends on the model of vehicle you are placing them into and the headlight set up. If your headlights look like mine with a 'projector' headlamp they will be fine. If it is a reflector set up, they will fit but you will get the results like your brother did. those lights just arent made to be swapped to LED. You can tell which it is, its a reflector type if you can see the bulb from the front once you put it in and it looks like a mirror behind it. NOW, also keep in mind, that these are technically not legal but many run them without issues. That said, its up to you to do what you will with that information
Unless they are ADR approved brand these are illegal on main roads, they sneaky sell them but they are supposed to be for off road driving only, watch out for the pigs brah
Yeah I think very few are adr approved but they can be found and picked up usually for a premium.. Is have to be unlucky since there are pajeros running led projector headlights as oem. Could do happen though.
These nighteye are junk when used in rainfall during the night. If you only drive during the dry night time, they are for you. For everyday use, not good.
I've not had issues with them under any conditions. There is more light which means you're likely to see more rain in getting of you or being reflected. Compared to the originals though, I think these are bloody brilliant. I do have a set of auxbeams which are of similar color but not as bright as these. I think they're more similar in output to the originals. They might work better for you. I'll get a video up soon.

Welcome and cheers
Question on this fitment, finally completed what a difference, the bulbs emit vertical lines on the reflector, should they be horizontal?
so long as the light out front isn't getting the oncoming traffic I wouldn't be concerned. There's no real option to rotate them anyway if I recall. but it didn't look to do it, so i could be wrong. but it's an easy spend of 30 bucks for so much improvement
@@DENMONKEY thanks Brett and yes major improvement what a difference
Cheers mate great vid 👍🏼
thanks Benny
Hi Brett, thanks for the Video. I was about to go with Stedi's until i saw one of your comments on the paj FB page. Can you confirm the wattage of the globes in this video? The link no longer works and the only ones i can find @ 9000lm are 72w, OEM halogens are 55w. Will this cause an issue?
Ive update the link on the video to this one ebay.us/Zhyhuu . they state 72W from the original link . I've been running them now for 3 years with no issue and no of plenty of others who went with them too and haven't had any negative feedback . That's the only advice I can give really.
Just received a set Stedi Copper Head led. Will be interesting to see how they go 🤞
Good video. Are they still going ok, no problems please?
Hey IB, mate, theyre still going as good as the day I stuck them in. No issues at all. I've got some auxbeam ones on the way to test. will get a video done once they turn up
BTW. you can get the same bulbs 3x cheaper directly from aliexpress sellers instead of UK sellers which will add profit.
Awesome vid
Cheers
Thanks for the video, very helpful. Just put a set on my NT Pajero and they are awesome. Did you end up replacing the T10 Parker bulb as well?
Got a new set on the way from auxbeam. Not sure if they're any good yet. Will do a video. I did replace the t10s with some cheap ebay ones a mate gave me. They fell apart. Thanks for reminding me to swap them out
@@DENMONKEY bought some cheapies off eBay as well, hope they fair better than yours did 😀.
Let me know. I need some more😁
Hey mate just upgraded with these globes, was surprised to get a second set but different brand delivered as well but unsure whether to trust them. ESSGOO h11 energy saving globes... have you heard of them?
Can't say I've heard or heard of them. Let me know what you think of them.
Still the light alright?
Cheers dude ✌🏼
Right on
Are the original ones still going? Also just to clarify you have used these in your high and low beam.? No complaints from oncoming traffic?
Hey mate… still happy with these LED’s?
Ive just fitted these in my Honda CRV that has projector upgrade, electronic levelling, via 3 position switch, and headlamp washers. All works great but does anyone know if these will pass an MOT test in the UK.?
No idea here mate sorry, but can you post back if you find out
gday mate, just checking how you went with the MOT ?
How are they holding up 4 years later?
Cracker mate. Still going strong. Have 3 sets now in my cars and no issues with any of them
these are great
Did you get some? Did you do high and low?
@@DENMONKEY low beam really impressed with the difference , similar to my wifes subaru forester now which has hid as standard
Any idea how these would compare to using slightly modified H9 bulbs e.g. OSRAM ?
do yu mean the modified halogen version ?
@@DENMONKEY appreciate your ramblings, invaluable! Just ordered a set 👍 high beams worth changing at all do you think? Or a light bar better $ spent?
for the same price mate, yeah worth the effort. otherwise when you hit the highs you can really notice the colour difference. they dont make as much difference as in the lows in my opinion but still worth the spend I reckon.
Can you help me how to change the bulb on my fog lights? Can i use led as well? Thanks
not sure mate, but i think the ones i took out may still be in the shed. If I can find them I'll have a look for ya. i think you need to go in from the back if i remember there was about 4 screws holding them into the bumper
DENMONKEY thankyou so much mate, and what type of led again to use for the low beam and high beam?
H11 right?
very good video 👍👍👍
thanks mate. appreciate it
I have an NP exceed and I can't get the plugs of the globes. Any idea?
Sorry Ken no idea. I'm not even sure what gloves you have.
Are they still working well? I've had 2 sets and both faded out in about 12 months.
yeah Jeff, 3 years later all is good. same set. one side did start blinking a few times but sorted itself out. I think it may have got dirt in it
Good review. Thank you
No worries Marc, I've got a couple more different brand LED headlights reviews coming up. They're going to have to do well to beat these for performance for price though. I'm very happy with these .
Now you've been running for a while mate what are your thoughts?
Best 30 bucks I spent on the paj. I got some auxbeam worth about 60 bucks for review. These ones are better
Hey man, Are they suitable for snow??
Hey Harsha, I don't know mate. I've not used them in snow. I think they would be a bit too white for snow, but I'm not sure.
DENMONKEY is yours an exceed version?
I have tried similar LEDs in foggy and snow condition and I think the reflection is not very comfortable for me. I end up with 4300K HID conversion with ballasts, which works well with my pajero Gen4.
Basically because most LED globes have high colour temp more than 5700K
What year is your pajero?
2010
Hi there, the LED design from the box is different @ 0:51 from what You actually installed !!!!
I'm going to have to watch it back now just to check 😁 same box they came in though
Interfear radio?
no mate ,not for me
Hi Mate, have you fitted a set to your high beam yet? If so how are they going?? Tim
Hey Tim, not yet mate. be a little while before I get around to it.
I've been spending my spare bucks on the caravan at the moment. so unless I win the lotto, it has to wait :(
I know the feeling. I have a Jayco OB eagle and there is always a mod or upgrade i want to do....
Thanks, i thougt that it was possible to change trhe color originally in red or blue?
Would these be road legal? Apparently switching halogens out for LED without changing the housing is illegal.
Probably not. There s no info on the box. That said, this didn't change the beam pattern and is not impacting in other drivers, so I think the chances of it being picked up non factory is unlikely.
I'm an idiot... ordered two pairs of the H7 accidentally.... so now i have to wait again for the H11's 😑😆
Just need to find someone who needs h7 for Christmas
@@DENMONKEY my brothers commodore should be a fit!
Hello, Do you know how to change the dashboard light from red to blue on Pajero 4?
The distance is less compare to helogin
Possibly but the light is more usable where it matters
Don't make the same mistake as me and buy these thinking they'll fit your pajero np (2000) 😀
yeah, not sure what the models are for the NP.
