I just put the 9005 model number for the high beams in my 2010 Pilot and they are amazing. Like you said about the glare, very minimal and a concentrated beam. I ordered 4 more of these but the H11 number to replace the low beams and driving lights in the bumper. I have HID's in there currently and they just annoy me. Too many problems. These LED's I can confirm are indeed brighter and less glare. I did lower the housing and I tell everyone that replaces the factory bulbs that they might have too Also. LED technology in MY opinion has definitely surpassed the HID's. Brighter, way less sensitive, doesn't get nearly as hot and last way longer. This company makes very good LED lights and much cheaper than other ones. The reviews on these on Amazon are over 86% positive 5 star. Great video!!
factory low beam bulb is usually 55 watt. this bulb in video is 80 watt. minus well be a high beam. as for the price, about the same for hid kit. if not more. i had hid before ,but if you dont have projector lamps, the light will blind everyone. projector keeps it towards the street.
You can see on the label on the braided cable that it's (a QUOTED) 40W per lamp - it's 80W combined, but even then they probably consume less power than stated
My 2007 Odyssey LX doesn't have any kind of cut-off to limit the headlights from blinding oncoming traffic. Your video made your headlights appear as though yours do not go above an acceptable height. Do you know if these would work in my vehicle without blinding oncoming traffic? Thank you for your videos.
I know there was a mid cycle design change between 2007 and 2008 but I am not sure if anything was changed on the headlight assembly. The only thing I can suggest is park your car behind a wall (like what I did with my garage), and turn on the headlight and see if the beam pattern looks anything like what you saw in this video.
I have tried a few of those cheap led headlights and they seems to stop working after 5 months or so.I don't know if the ones that cost above 60$ will last longer .Can confirm? Thanks.
I have H11 bulbs should the cord coming from the bulb always point down? On one light it points up after install and the other it points down. It also doesn't click lock into place like OEM into the housing.
I bought one about a year ago. In the beginning, these headlights looked good (passenger side was a little dimmer). Into a several month, right side lamp fan gave up and, now driver side lamp fan is making funny noise rather loud and going on and off about to give up.
That lights are very bad,i bought 2 9005 for my Grand Cherokee 2008 so i just put them on my fog lights and after the second day i went into a big puddle and they stop working, looks like the water went inside the fan : (
The Odyssey's headlight is not sealed in a traditional sense like the old lights for Jeeps. They have a hole in the back to install the bulb which is sealed once the bulb is installed. No problem with handling the heat inside.
Okay....I have a Nissan Max and the headlights are sealed..... It would be interesting to see what the temps would be between the stock halogen bulb and those LEDs in a seal unit. Are the headlights sealed on your Quest?
This are ready to use without ballast.,,?? and since these light have fan my car is halogen projectors and my car is a Mazda CX-9 and the bulb are close no air go in the housing is tight close with screw cap there is any problem without air coming in the housings.??
I have these in the van to this day and is driven daily. They work well. As for the promo code, the seller only provided the code to me at the time of the review. After some time, they do expire. I don't have other codes.
Unfortunately I can only see about ten feet in front of my car. They do not beam at all for my car. Back to the search of affordable led headlight bulbs that will work.
I am still not seeing this to be better than the original halogen. Notice how much blochy the beam is with the LED. Yes, there is more light right in the front of your vehicle but that makes the darkness further ahead even tougher to see. I wish you had done a similar drive with your original halogen for comparison. You would have seen even brightness from near to far and that is what you want in a car headlight.
I do not reccomend this. Save your money and get something better. I bought a pair of these (9006), for $20. Installed correctly and I can tell you I regret this purchase so much. They are not as bright as I advertised. I mean they are bright just a bit. My chinese xenon lights are way more brighter at the same color 6000k. Next time I won't go cheap.

Great video!!
liquidalloy a wasswa âS
liquidalloy How long you been using it? People say they don’t last long..
Like the upgrade! Thinking about upgrading my 2010 Toyota! Wandering about the cost!
I’m thinking of buying these headlights but afraid they won’t last long..
Should I buy it?
I had to modify the connector a bit to fit this on my 2010 Odyssey.

Thanks for sharing.
How about the noise caused by the fan? I don't think this can be a problem, but I just would like your opinion.
Tks in advance
You are using it in a car. Unless you drive a hybrid or electric car, you won't notice the fan noise when driving.

Would you still recommend these bulbs as of August 2018 or is there something better out there for the price?

can you adjust the actual bulb? like the direction the leds are facing with that screw
Not on this one.

many thanks!
Looks like there is a possibility of flickering in DRL mode ( because of lower voltage )
I wonder if there is enough room in my 2003 Accord Coupe since the battery is so close to the drivers side headlight
Any problem with the lights yet? I have watched a few other review videos saying the chips stopped working 4 to 5 months in.

Can I use this as a DRL in 2009 Odyssey ( in 9005 ) , will I lose option for high beams , any tips , thanks .
Do these provide for high and low beams? If so, why did you not show the difference in your test drive video?
qmcswret, this is 9006 as he had shown/stated, single beam only.
Very well done review.
Thanks for your comment!
Does your car have Day time running lights? And if it has do they flicker when DRL are on?
Yes I have DRL which is same bulb as hi beam, and they don't flicker. None of my lights flicker.
Is that 8000 lumins each bulb ?

Are your headlamps sealed? Just wondering about the heat.

Hi, how much did u paid for them
Dang they don't make them for h3 bulbs
are these the best bulbs you recommend? i see that you have put several in your van from your other vids...and your promo code doesn't work...

does it fit the oem connector?
How did these hold up? I read that they go out almost a month after use
It's actually been about 9 months and still working great. No issue.
Try it in heavy rain, you'll cry 😂
How about rubber cap on stock halogen. Did you remove or install it txs
9006 don't have rubber cap. H4 lights haver the rubber cap.See this vid: ua-cam.com/video/yKQGMuoZ_1o/v-deo.html
Will these lights fit your Nissan Quest?
John Stockelman maybe not his but probably your Ferrari. :p
Yes, 2004 - 2010 Quest uses 9006 bulb.
Unfortunately I can only see about ten feet in front of my car. They do not beam at all for my car. Back to the search of affordable led headlight bulbs that will work.
Can these be used as daytime running lights at 50% voltage?
Cam Life did u ever figure it out?
Mine went out after 5 months
And mine are the daylight running lights.
will these fit the 2011 nissan quest sv?
2011 Quest should use H11 bulb for low beam headlight. You need to double check. You can get H11 for this bulb on the Amazon link in my description.
Thanks i will check it out
Does anyone know if I can use these for DRL without any load resistor?
good video!!👏
Thanks for your comment!
Connect it just like the video and do not turn on the lights what is happening
no driving and showing high beam :(
