Great to see you back. I never comment, but your channel is my main source of entertainment. Watching your master level play, has helped my game greatly. Thank you sincerely.
You know, after watching this i can't help but think a scenario where Valgavoth, a demon that was able to bring entire plane into submission, is beaten to death by a bunch of otters armed with a fishbone
This is exactly why I quit magic forever. I've been playing off and on for 30ish years, but the power creep is out of control. Now I just watch videos of others playing.
Your style is a perfect blend of Analysis/Entertainment, pure Thinkertainment! Got an idea for a future deck/title ...Turning their Cantrips to Can'trips.
That match against monoblue was the most interesting match I've seen in a long time. Very interesting matchup between combo + small beaters vs control.
I've played against this deck a couple times and it's really brutal if you don't have a good answer to Enduring Vitality. Once it's on the field it's just a race to beat them down before they find Stormsplitter or hope their combo fizzles without reaching lethal. I somehow have a full playset of Stormsplitter from ICRs and Golden packs so this is a deck that I'm open to building myself. Now if I just have enough wildcards to craft 4x Vitality though...
It's not perfect, but you can approximate the number of Stormsplitter copies you have by looking at the count of delayed triggers on the left side of the screen. You have to subtract the number of tapped Stormsplitters manually, but it's much easier to keep count of just the amount of mana you've spent by tapping creatures, and it tells you the order of magnitude regardless.
They’re the unhinged lands from an event years ago. Not sure if they’ve been in the store since, I know a lot of players want another chance at obtaining them.
Highly unlikely, there are a lot of ways to disrupt it. It’s also relatively slow compared to what other decks are capable of and there’s a fail rate even if you do assemble all the pieces.
I really didn't think you'd come back to win that game against mono black. Top deck mode against a deck with a lot of removal and only one critical creature in play is not where you want to be. But you found a path. GG.
I played it in the previous version alongside Convoke spells. It’s mostly overkill in this deck, but will sometimes make it so you need fewer cantrips to win.

I like that you keep games you lose, because are still interesting and also reallistic. 😊
Glad you like them!
@@LegenVD I second this opinion

"At least we`re not gonna get killed on turn 2! wich is always fun!" - That quote perfectly translates Standard right now.
Play BO3 if you’re sick of Mono Red!
@@andrewp6738 This comment reeks of Mono-Red Heresy!

@@andrewp6738 Not gonna play 3 games only for 2 ticks
Red aggro is winning Bo3 right now because they'll swap a couple of pumps for protects@@andrewp6738
Those stormsplitters I crafted are going to come in handy after all! Yeah a cryptolith rite effect is perfect for them

Gruul combo! Hell yeah! Awesome deck, Luca!
this thumbnail is one of the cutest things ive ever seen
7:50 big "63" counter on the left, LVD: hm...we might already have enough over here... XDDD
Say, Luca, have you already built something around Ral, Crackling Wit? Would love to see you storm off!
Love your content. Really enjoy the way you play the game and how you present it to us viewers.

Do you feel "Triggered" watching this video. Lmao, trigger decks are my favorite, cant wait to try this.

Take a shot every time he says "combo off" - previously alive man

Notification squad. Love seeing you back lvd.
Yes, we do!
Geezus! @7:54
Oh deer
hey bro, where are these lands from? they are so good looking

Match five you could always keep up volcanic spite to kill your own Enduring Vitality if they're about to torch the tower it I think!
What do you think about the more popular temur version, adding picklock prankster and sleight of hand?
Prankster not hitting any of the creatures feels iffy, so probably not worth a worse manabase.
An izzet feeling deck in gruul is cool
Is there any chance that a Jyoti brawl video will becoming from you?
I've seen a version of this with Valley Floodcaller, wrecked me.
Before the release of Duskmourn I played a version with Floodcaller and convoke spells.
Otters go burrrr I guess.
Opponent in game one forgot to play magic.
Splinter twin? Is that you?
Splitter Twin, Splinter Twin’s twin.
Hilarious!!
WHO UP STORMIN THEIR OTTERS?!?!
Okay, next on paper =D
Wild that so few triggers caused on issue considering what you can do with scute / ocelot / etc. Cool deck.
monogreen DSK pleaseeeee
8:58 Another of those times when it feels like LVD is reading the opponent's mind.
I need a superfriends deck😢
"We might have enough damage here"
how long until it gets banned?

Sacrificing and targeting your own vitality in response to the binding, chefs kiss

Counter decks are so dumb
Hi, just wanted to ask if you tried Valley Floodcaller in the deck?
I played it in the previous version alongside Convoke spells. It’s mostly overkill in this deck, but will sometimes make it so you need fewer cantrips to win.
A possible turn 4 combo kill being too slow for the format does not provide a lot of value.
Yeah standard has changed.
huh.
