Great video , i have the same leak on the front axle. Now i know how it's time to fix it !
If you can rent or borrow a 20ton hydraulic puller would be ideal. I used some junkyard steel plates and a big M33 bolt.

My seals were so old that the rubber cracked like plastic when I pulled them out.

Where? Strangling the claw hammer and using a small screwdriver to attack the seal just shows a lack of ability and the correct equipment to me.
the seal was there for about 50 years and seemed like glued in place. the other three came out just fine with the claw in a single pull. you probably don't have much experience as a mechanic to know how things are in real life.

did you manage to pull it off? give a few hammer wacks under pressure and you should set it free.
