Hi there, the lanyard is an elasticated cord that is attached to your belt and then to the pistol. If you drop your pistol or it falls out of the holster you shouldn't lose it. Hope that helps 👍😎

Hi there, I haven't tried tbh. I don't think so as the design of the lanyard/mag spring in the grip would get in the way.
