I remember watching this game in Bar Oz, Edinburgh. There were a lot of Welsh and Scots watching there too and they sang Flower of Scotland together after the game, made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck!
I remember being in US and at the start of the game I was trying to explain what a try was and how many points , I couldn’t have asked for a better visual illustration than that start The only drawback was I spent the next 15 mins explaining that tries don’t usually come that early 😅
I watched this game when I was turning 16, had no clue about rugby at that time, and then... wow!! That became my favourite sport to watch and follow!

Great bar
1:18:17 "You can always tell prop-forward, can't you? They ride low in the water." The wonderful, Bill McLaren.
Scots were never back 10 for Gregor's try! Great game, thanks for posting.
Great to watch such greats as Howley, Bateman and Armstrong again
Wales and Scotland. Love both! Have ancient connections stretching back over 1700 years.
Amazing to see some of the old players. Watching the game tomorrow with my dad. Will be a fun match to watch!!!
Looking forward to the commentary as well. Different class from what we have to put up with today.
Andrew Cotter is probably the only good rugby commentator at the moment
The late great Bill McLaren. What pleasure he brought us all for so many years. Cheers Bill. RIP.
And the late Eddie Butler as well.
Great game. Thanks for showing it.
As Bill said "What a game"
Is this the fastest try scored ever?! Unbelievable!
Martin Leslie, John Leslie, Cammy Murray, who was three years above me at school. Looking forward to it.
