Christianity is a religion, definition of religion: a system of faith and worship. Christianity falls under this definition, we have rules to follow, we are not saved by these rules, we are saved by the grace of God and empowered by Christ to follow His commandments, if we love Him we will keep His COMMANDMENTS. There is no relationship without rules, therefore Christianity is a relationship and a religion.

True or correct?...if some people have a problem with Pastor Tobi then they should have that same energy for their local pastors. Whether they are Black, White or Asian. But then some people love to complain just for the sake of complaining but won't do nothing about it offline.

Pastor Tobi is calling the black community “illiterate” yet he has failed to understand the entire Bible. Matthew 5:17-20 clearly tells us that he has come to fulfill the “law” not to abolish it. The reason he warns us about the Pharisees is because they were hypocrites, what they were preaching were not aligning with the Word of God, hence why he tells them to listen to them, but not follow them as an example. Sooo, I am failing to understand what he’s saying. The Israelites were in the time of Abraham, the Old Testament. Jesus came in, the New Testament I’m failing to see what he was talking about. Another point i wanted to make doesn’t “Christianity” sound similar to Jesus Christ 🤔. So I’m not sure what he was on about, when he was making his point about him not being religion. If you are not religious, why read the bible, be a Pastor or own a church if you don’t believe in the concept of Christianity, contradicting left right and centre.
I probably dislike Pator Tobi as much as you, but this comment doesn't make sense... in terms of Jesus not spreading christianity it is true. He was trying to preach a relationship with God.... It was more St Peter who was an advocate for Christianity. Also your comparison with old and New Testament is a bit confusing, can't tell the point your actually trying to make.
Fresh Guy yes he was teaching a relationship with God. But he in no scripture tell us not to follow the law. That’s my point, Pastor Tobi made a point about the “Old Testament” being tailored for only the Israelites.
And he does in Matthews tell us that he came to fulfill the law, emphasising the importance of the laws God gave to Abraham. A relationship is important yes. But believing in Jesus Christ is the fundamental of being Christain, how can you have a relationship with God without believing in his Son and that he died on the cross for us.

Also not that easy to leave a church if you are built relationships. Also how can you know have safeguards in place before appointing leaders given their background. It is not about not giving them a chance but also protecting them given their background. Take temptation out of the way.

The interview with zeze he said he lived a rich lifestyle that his parents are not poor. But in this interview he said he was a kitchen poster basically broke. Where is the truth with this guy
I think in the zeze he was talking about his life back in nigeria right? Than in this he's talking about the UK. He mentioned the kitchen thing to Alhan too in the hope dealers documentary a few years ago
Came with the mindset that this person is a con artist now leaving with no change in my ideology, the interviewer, in my view should've focused more on the leaders of the church's (Miriam mola). He did touch on the topic, and spoke about background checks, but conversation diverted away from it.
Now there is a intense call for offers/donations, and I myself have seen this trend before, as he has said a lot of churches take part in these intensive fundraising activities.
I saw short videos of one of his pastors saying that ~one thousand pounds per week isn't *too high* for members, this could be out of context, however, £1000 per week, is excessive to say the least.
Now the question can be asked if these pastor had become overzealous in the pursuit of collecting the most, inorder to meat the high quota set by Tobi. People will go to extraordinary lengths, for their belief.
Now For Miriam mola, a pastor of one of these churches, as well as a known scammer. For her to enter the church and move up the ranks so quickly, to the status of a pastor, is beyond me.
No one should be placed at that level of authority, without proper, and I mean Proper checks be done. Tobi says they are advanced and modern.
1) I think he has put these pastors there as an guise, to take the fall.
2) some of these pastors are indeed committing fraud to meet the target.
But either way he knows and is just as responsible.

In some aspects he is right about the reading situation it's just he worded it wrong..
I work with a lot of young ppl they prefer practical to theory which in turn lessens the ability to want to read more.
Even down to music contracts it's been a ongoing issue tbh but to say their illiterate was harsh imo..
Majority I'm not sure but there are a segment of young blk kids who find reading challenging which could be down to adhd but if he classes himself as a community leader won't it be a better angle to actually create a open dialogue n improve it as oppose to looking down on ur own ain't like he even pronounces things correctly kmt.

Jesus never said He will get his disciples wealth rather make them Fisher of men. Also to say Christainity is not in the bible is wrong, he should check Acts 11:26. I pray the pastor does a self examination and preach the whole counsel of God. Relationship with God is more the getting wealth. Also please don't make Christainity about what the white man told us!

this has to be one of the worst interviews that i have ever heard, not backing the pastor or anything he is probably a conman but the way the interview started you can already telling that the interviewer is not professional , clearly not especially intelligent and obviously being led by an agenda
