7 strings intimidated the crap out of me. I’m so glad you suggested this. It’s been so much fun writing stuff on the 7s and has also made going back to our 6 string tuning more enjoyable as well. Makes sense really. Great video Dude. Love ya Edit: I typed this response up before I competed the video. Goes to show my patience and listening skills still need work
I use pedals in a different way than their original intention. Helps to explore and give sometimes amazing dimensions to riffs that would have sound boring. Tuning helps also for sure, but mostly I would remove strings or force myself to never use my "favorite" chords ever in a song. The other thing that helped me a lot was to start listening to bands I would normally ignore or even dislike. And practice active listening. Anyways, controlled chaos is creativity waiting to be unearthed.
Thanks for the encouragement! I love your approach to tips and tricks, you're not forceful or "end stop"; you're allowing for interpretations. Thank you for joining the charge of content creators encouraging the end of gear and guitar toxicity :)
Chaos, getting out of comfort zones, yeah, I like switching up styles quite a bit, from mellow almost-new-age jazz fusion to Berlin-school electronics to drone-doom metal. Keeps things fresh. My music and videos are on my YT channel if anyone wants to check it out.
Had a bunch of change on my end , scale length , different tuning, dif strings, changed out both guitar and bass . Wala new project new sounds , great video man I just went through this same thing about 1 yr now . Cheers and love that artwork on your new album it’s super creative. BC ✌🏼
Love it! Great video and concept!

First reaction to this title: Too late, I'm ADHD AF.
Fair enough:)
I would ask if it djents. But we already know that guitar can. The only question is why arent you djenting?
I don't Djent but I fully support you doing it!
